Here's the depth charts for all of the nba teams

Here's the Lakers depth chart. I changed some things around because they had Odom starting at sf. I moved Artest there and put Odom at backup pf.

Even though we won the championship I still think we could use a decent backup center/pf. Bynum gave us nothing last year but he should be improved this year after being fully recovered from his injury.

If we face Boston or the Cavs in the finals I think we need an aggressive big man that won't get chumped by KG/Sheed/Perkins or Shaq. I don't know if there are many of those in the league anymore.

A center

I mean shit is it that hard

Why can't we ever have a good center

Bum after bum after bum :hmm::hmm::hmm:

You're right about the center, but I think what Dallas needs more than anything is intangible and can't be measured on a chart....and that's some fuckin' HEART, KILLER INSTINCT, PASSION, FIRE, AGGRESSION, BALLS, THE EYE OF THE TIGER, THE SPIRIT OF A CHAMPION, THE WILL TO WIN!!!

All champions have it and until they get it it doesn't matter who's on the damn team...they have to be ready to die for it, they have to want it bad!!! Kinda like how Wade did when he just, damn near single-handedly, ripped their hearts out in the finals that year. Mike, Kobe, Magic, Bird, Isaiah, Duncan, Pierce, etc. NEVER would've let that happen!!! :smh::smh::smh:

I can't count the number of times I've watched Dallas and they just don't seem to want it that bad. They're just too damn soft at times.

Thats why im not against adding a guy like stephen jackson(who wants to come back to Texas), why I wanted to go after artest last offseason, and why I like the marion addition

The team just needs more tough players

Like Randy Galloway says "thug it up!":lol::dance:

If any team needs some hard heads its the mavericks

I would go for Jackson also. Jackson for Josh Howard. Somebody to help protect that softie Dirk.

Cuban is the same owner who said he wouldn't trade Dirk for Kobe, did a sign and trade for Eirck Dampier after he signed a $70 million dollar deal and traded away Devin Harris for a 35 year old Jason Kidd so I don't trust Cuban in making smart basketball decisions.

ima man up n take tha verbal ass whoopin but fuck it. im from NY and ima keep it funky wit my bumass Knicks. wut we need is for the league to start over and have a fantasy draft n take our chances on that cuz we diggin a deeper grave every year and a whole new roster is needed.....

who am i kidding we would find a way to fuck that shyt up too:smh::smh::smh:

The Knicks are banking the next decade of their franchise on next years free agent class.

They need two of the four, Lebron, Wade, Bosh and Amare to sign free agent deals with them.

If I was any of them I would sign with the Nets. The Nets have a much better young nucleus of talent and they can create their own legacy in Brooklyn.

The Nuggets need an upgrade at the 2 and a backup Center..preferably a post player. I was pissed when they passed up on Rasheed.

is
pg
sg
pf verdict is out on the rookie
c
i like the small forwards chander, the italin hopefully will turn out to be a good player

My Celts don't need a damn thing, but good health.........well maybe a shot of 'fountian of youth' juice.

The Bulls still need a low post scorer. That and they need to stay healthy with Gordon we can ill afford to have Luol Deng hurt again. I still look back at the Aldridge-Thomas trade a wonder. I wasn't 100% with when it happened only swayed by them getting another 2-3 players in the deal and so far they'd be better off with Aldridge.

When the season starts

Rasheed 35
Allen 34
Garnett 33
Pierce 32

Bench will have to put in heavy minutes this season to give the old dudes a rest.

The problem is Cleveland, Orlando and Boston will all be battling for the top spot in the East so I don't know if they can afford to rest them.

Donnie Nelson doesn't get enough of the blame in the stupid moves the mavericks make

Nuggets are doing the best they can with cost cutting owners

Great starting 5 but the bench is suspect.

Word...they need either a solid 2 or 3 (preferably both) and then they could seriously give problems to anybody...

The Knicks may end up getting a bad return, because out of those four players, they may just get one (Bosh), especially if Miami makes a move to get Amare and sign both him and Wade. LeBron is staying in Cleveland or will end up with the Nets.

Because the Knicks have been so bad for so long and they haven't made major moves in the past, I see no effect of them signing any of those players for any other reason than local marketing strategies...

EVERYTHING!!!!

THE BUCKS ARE THE DUMBEST NBA FRANCHISE EVER
EVER!!!!!

Yes, worst than NY and the Clippers at least those teams can draft once in a blue moon.

A busy Monday for the Mavericks started with retaining James Singleton, jettisoning Greg Buckner, finding out one of their new players has a knee injury and learning that there's now a familiar name on the waiting list to join the squad.

Singleton signed the qualifying offer that the Mavericks had on the table since early this summer. It will pay him just over $1 million for the 2009-10 season, $175,000 more than the league minimum that other teams were offering.

However, the roster did not expand to 17 guaranteed contracts because in a separate transaction the Mavericks waived Greg Buckner, a move that was not a surprise. Buckner, a 6-4 swingman, has a $4 million expiring contract, only $1 million of which is guaranteed.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks learned that 6-10 forward Tim Thomas suffered a knee injury of undetermined severity during a pick-up game.

Apparently, the injury is at least a sprain, but could include some cartilage damage. A sprain would mean he probably would be able to participate in part of training camp, which starts Sept. 28, if not all.

Cartilage damage would require perhaps four to eight weeks of recovery time. The Mavericks hope to know more when their doctors examine Thomas.

Even though the roster is at 16, one more than the maximum that can be carried in the regular season, the Mavericks have another player who has his sights on joining them.

Duncanville native and former Utah Jazz center Greg Ostertag said Monday that he would love to make an NBA comeback after three seasons in retirement and Dallas is his dream destination.

The Mavericks' obvious hole on the roster? A backup center to Erick Dampier.

"Everyone knows how bad I've wanted to play in Dallas," Ostertag said. "I grew up there. They were my favorite team growing up. I'd play there in a second. ... That would be the ultimate way to end my career."

President of basketball operations Donnie Nelson said the 7-2, 36-year-old Ostertag is on the Mavericks' radar, but with the roster situation, some things would have to happen for them to make a serious run at him. The team is always open to trading and could pursue some two-for-one or even three-for-one deals that might open a roster spot.

Singleton's signing ends weeks of waiting for the Mavericks. He averaged 5.1 points and 4 rebounds last season, but improved as the year went along as he recovered from serious knee surgery.

76ers need a real big man.
Elton and Dalembert are moreless role players.
Kapono and Holiday can be outside threats.
Iguodala just needs the support to be the next Vince. We all know he can jump outta the gym but its Officially his team now and he's still reluctant to step up and takeover when need.

I Hope no Wizards fans post anything! We go to Wizards games to see the other team and possibly take a nap

bulls need a low post threat

Yep. We have athletic bigs in Noah and Thomas who can run like deers but no tough physical inside players. Then we have an aging Brad Miller and they resigned Aaron Gray(stiff). If the Bulls could ever find a raw big they would be serious contenders. Until they address low post scoring my Bulls are only pretenders.

A center ... and a miracle. We don't have even a halfway decent 5, but we got like 3 SG's. Our truest point is gonna have to come off the bench, the other bench guard is a $20 mil free agent.

Don't start this bullshit stop crying nationally like a bitch. This is a rebuilding year.

So uh... how come I answered the question just like everyone else did, but for some reason I'm the one who's crying? :hmm:

Did I say it was NOT a rebuilding year? The thread asked what we need, I answered what he need. You the one sounding emotional as fuck... like you employed at the Palace or somethin. You one of them niggas that throws the t-shirts into the stands or some shit?
