There ain’t shit the Democrats can do to get GOP electorate voters to stop voting against their best interests by voting and supporting the GOP.

It mainly comes down to racism.

When the Democrats decided to support and push the Civil Rights Bill and Voting Rights Act. And Pres. Johnson kicked in his Great Society program to fight the War on Poverty.

They got it into their head that Democrats are mainly for Black People.

They know the GOP are only in in for themselves, the interest of Wall Street/Corporate America and the filthy rich.

They see the GOP as the lesser of two evils, so they support them.

And the GOP knows it and feeds them BS like Abortion, Gay’s and The Darkies are coming for you and they gonna rape and steal away your wives, girlfriends and daughters.

The GOP sells them Fear and tells them what they want to hear and they eat it up.

Trump knew this and took it to the next level. That’s what made him successful to become POTUS.

As we celebrate the end of the Trump era, the time begins to make sure it is never repeated. It is distressing that this race was close enough to take four days to be called and that Republicans nearly stamped out the progress seen in the 2018 election. This should have been a blowout but Trump gained 8 million votes over 2016 for 70 million total-- More people voted for Donald Trump in 2020 than ever voted for Barack Obama or any other Democrat in any other election.

Biden is winning the popular vote by 2.9% right now. Clinton won it by 2.1%.

Those numbers are white-specific. I haven't seen the numbers for minority groups specifically. A lot of this is a dumb white people problem, heavily correlated with race.

But it remains true that the Democrats base is disproportionately college-educated and they don't do as well with less educated voters as a party of the people should.

The DEMS need to stick to certain narratives and concentrate on growing their base. Fuck idiots who want to believe lies. That group, which this thread is about, its mostly stupid whites. They just using that term to make them feel better. And mostly stupid whites are in rural areas which are getting smaller and smaller. They need to grow their base in states like AZ, GA, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Texas and NC. Do that and those stupid white voters wont matter.....

He didn't grow anything. They weren't new voters. These voters had been there they just wasn't voting or didn't vote previously. Again there is a lot of people that will vote for DEMs that aren't even registered to vote. Like I said dems dont need to convince stupid whites. They will always be stupid. Just like they dont need to win every state. Concentrate on growing the base in NC Texas GA AZ Pennsylvania and they will be fine. Hammer certain narratives. Repubs now how to campaign because they Concentrate on a few lieing narratives. They are horrible at governing because majority of their policies are idiotic and dont work. Just think, if you went into the house or the senate and said liberals raise your hands, probably less than half of the democrats would raise their hands, and some that do, would do it almost hesitantly. ....do the same but asking for the very conservatives to raise your hands and 90% of Republicans would raise both their hands. Over the past 45 years, the GOP made liberal a bad word, even for lots of people who lean left.
