Most of us are fathers and we do the giving.
But this thread is about what the fam got you.
Kids surprised me with a PS4, which I had to intention of buying as I have a ps3.

The wife pre-paid for my CZ Skorpion EVO 3 S1. They will hopefully start shipping in Jan-Feb....:D
 
My woman is giving the gift of leaving for 5 days! Her and the boy are going to Denver! House to myself is all I need!

Truth be told, I just wanted the boots. The rest is gravy.:cool:

BTW, the wife got me the Fire TV stick at the 19.99 price a while back, and so far, I'm kinda diggin' it.

I got her a Nordictrack elliptical.

She'll be takin the girls shoppin next week.

I cooked up a shrimp boil, 6lbs small red potatoes, 3lbs purple potatoes, 42pc of corn, 5lbs of shrimp, steamed baby bok choy, steamed green ounions, ginger, garlic and slap ya momma boil spice.

Samuel l Jackson, shiner and modelo beers, yellow tail wine for the ladies.

Shit went down last night.
 
A little off topic, I got the 13yr old girl a cellphone and xbox 360, she is into computers and the cellphone to keep in touch if we are late getting her from school.
She was jumping up and down, her mother promptly gave me the evil eye and told the kid you will have the cellphone for one week and she will put content controls on the xbox.
I was dying. :lol::lol::lol:
Will report back in later with what other gifts were I got.
We are finishing up the cooking while the kids run around.:dance:

Man you could have steamed any veggi and it would have been good.

I never had the purple potatoe, just like the small red ones. Gook store has all kinds of shit.

Left out the sausage, chapel hill beef, that shit went hard
 
got my wife an Ipad Air and a Note 4, Keurig coffee maker, dvd mounts for her headrests in her car, marc jacobs perfume, dress, sweater, and some other stuff.
got my mom a new stove and had it delivered to her home.

wife got me another saxophone (alto)....some sweaters, jeans, clippers, and vince camuto cologne.
 
Yo i got a broom... i mean.. a BROOM.. my ex asked me what it does and i said.. used to sweep debri off the floor. She was like oh I thought it did something else and i was like nah.. just a broom. She asked why and i told her because until you had a quality ass broom, you wouldn't understand.

The point is there are a ton of stuff out there that is normal shit but until you experience the premium version of some normal shit, you just don't understand. Over time, i've had it all but at this point, I need a quality ass broom and boom I'm good!

I know you do music and have been around and experienced a lot but how did you wind up a soccer fan and Man U specifically ? If you don't mind me asking.

I don't do the gift thing tho...haven't bought a gift in years now...I'd say it's probably been about 6 years...no cards/no gifts...I get stuff from coworkers friends and fam but I just stopped doing it...waste of $$$ imo...what's crazy is they've come to accept it...no complaints and they still all get me gifts...I like this time of year for seeing/hearing ppl I haven't seen in a minute and the time to relax w/ friends but I don't think being obligated to run out and buy gifts and cards (that will get thrown out in a week) should be a part of feeling good about the holidays...for kids yes but not adults

I've always liked the sport as a kid. My aunt got married to a Brit while she was in the Air Force and he was a Villan (Aston Villa), and since she knew I followed the sport, she sent me the sports section of the English rags hoping to make me a Villan as well. Sadly for her and my uncle, it didn't work out that way. :lol: I was always reading about Man U, and eventually became a Red Devil. I've been a supporter for about 33 years now.
