What Could GW Have Offered The North Koreans?

When GW entered office in 2001, the communist North Koreans had no nuclear weapons. The dreaded Clinton administration saw to that. During GW's term, one of the Axis of Evil exploded a weapon. Now, somehow without fanfare, the N. Koreans have abandoned their nuclear weapons progam. What gives and why can't the Iranian's be offered the same deal? Maybe, the N. Koreans have no oil under their soil and GW has no interest in occuping them for it?

I think you raised interesting questions: "What Could GW Have Offered The North Koreans?" and "why can't the Iranian's be offered the same deal?" But, do you really believe that our present difficulties with Iran arise out of GW's desire to occupy it, for the oil ???

It wasn't America that got them to do anything...it was the Chinese that stepped in and made Kim Jong Il step down.
