What Are Good Jobs For Felons??

Being a felon dont even mean that you really did that crime. Its word play in them courts. When ya money is not right you may be forced plead out or rot in jail. Either way you fucked. Ive never meet anyone who has actually done a 5 to 10 year bid and act like its nothin or a vacation. Anyone that sat that long and has the motivation to work at a Wal mart wouldn t even bring it up. You were more than likely around imposters.
No bullshit here....start his own landscaping business. You can make $$$ if he is good...and has good customer service/business skills. He does not need alot of money to get started. Buy a used lawnmower...and trimmer. Do some small jobs. Get his bank up and use that to purchase better equipment. If he is able to market himself properly he should be fine.
Actually I know a cat that is a felon... for selling drugs. He is decent dude that just did something STUPID. He has his own moving company. Basically he just up and bought a USED 20ft box truck. He leaves flyers at apartment complex builidings...and posts in craigslist. Depending on the size of the job he goes too... he picks up a 'day laborer' on the way to help with the move. He comes across very professional..as far as mover is concerned... He works as much or as little as he chooses. He is not balling out of control... but he makes a decent living. he purchased a modest home, has a motorcycle, and older BMW 740.
So it can be done.

How can you do that? I had to plead guilty to misdemeanor because I couldn't afford a lawyer. That shit is fucking up my life right now.
Misdemeanor.....I don't think they check for those unless your doing a Govt job. I got hired at nuclear plant....and I got misdemeanor...I don't know the class but its misdemeanor none the less.

Most of the low level jobs offshore are worked by felons. These cats make 9$ an hour and work 12 hour shifts. You end up grossing close to a grand a week.

DC has a street cleaning crew called The Blue Team that employs ex-felons thru an agency called UPO (United Planning Organization). I know a few folks working for them making over $13/hr. Its not the best pay, but its better than most and it's 40 hrs a week M-F 8-4:30

Cool, he is really good at computers, too. Does anybody know if the IT field is big on not hiring felons? I'm thinking that that or an electrician apprenticeship might be a good look for him...
