Lemon Juice - not a lot but enough to cut some of the sweetness
POM pomegranate juice - now this can get expensive esp. if you are making it for several people - you can always get concentrated frozen juice from a health food store for a little less
Syrup- add this last so you can determine how much based on your taste..

Neither lol - All you do is boil water and sugar for a few minutes, let it stand and it will get thick like syrup. You don't need a lot of just enough to give it little sweetness. I made like 2 batches before I got the right amount of lemon juice and syrup. I would recommend making your own than buying it at the store...

Rich Simple Syrup:
With this variation you can use less syrup than a cocktail calls for.

Cook Time: 5 minutes

•1 part water

Ohhhhhhhh simple syrup. Making it fresh makes your drinks taste better.
