it depends on which model you have.....
the one on the left is the 1TB with micro
the one on the right is the 250 with a mini....
i really hope you all didnt buy the first version of the one on the left...it had horrible reviews and a high failure rate...i waited for this one which is the second version.
i got the one on the left (1TB)...i might buy one of the other WD drives as a backkup cause now u got me worried. I have the EXACT one in the pic. what does the first version look like? or are you stating the one in the pic is the better option as opposed to the first?
Thats the thing. The one in that link from amazon i posted doesnt have a real pic so you cant really say what it looks like. is it the one in the curved case on the right or the box case on the left. All I did was read the reviews when it first hit the market and didnt like the number of displeased customers plus at the time is was still 149.00 They were saying things about failure, preinstalled software issues, and even that some didnt work when turned sideways. So when the "second" variation of the 1TB came out, the reviews were much much better so I popped one when i saw it on sale at dealnews.com
In case you were wondering, I have a backup of the one on the left. Its a desktop 1TB from western digital.....
at this point...with the prices of drives.....there is no excuse to not have backups of drives...
Is this Hard Drive FAT32? I need to know because I am getting it for a friend of mine and he wants to use it on his PS3. So...is it FAT32?
BTW, Nukdollars, the hard drive that you bought MAY NOT BE FAT32. If it isn't FAT32 then it won't play or even be recognized by the PS3. This is what I am trying to find out before I even buy the thing.

I NEED a deal like this right now, someone keep me posted the next time something like this comes up. My HDD crashed the other day and I lost everything. The only thing I had backed up were my important documents and work related stuff. Im currently trying to rebuild my whole music collection
