Any person older than 25 who takes any of these bullshit "Shutdowns" serious is simply very naive. "Leadership" always finds a way to avert this because at the end of the day they know political theater is good for business, and it pays. At the end of the day its all theater.

Consider that Trump has a DOUBLE DIGIT polling lead over all of the other GOP Presidential candidates currently running, despite having FOUR MAJOR INDICTMENT cases because his rabid base worships him like a GOD. He can EASILY turn those rabid voters against the other current GOP Presidential candidates, as well as GOP Senators and US Representative candidates who are up for re-election. It's also suspected that Trump may dirt on some GOP members of Congress.
Its why they tread lightly AF in matters concerning Trump, especially during election season.

Republicans are realizing that their one trick pony (minorities are the problem) is finally coming to an end. The young people are calling them on their BS.
I'm not worried about the holiday much if it happens before Thanksgiving and IF the leadership refuses to let everyone go home until there's a resolution. Those folk are not trying to spend the holiday in DC.
