During Ted Cruz's shutdown under Obama, I was active duty and for those of us who had USAA, the bank would front our normal deposits up to a certain point. I never missed a payment.

I'm a contractor so this won't stop me from working. The Feds will be out but we will still be maintaining. My pay is guaranteed until next fiscal year. When Feds can't do shit, we still have to make sure the network is up.
