Wednesday Showdown- Carolina vs Duke!!!

I hate losing, especially to those chumps, but for some strange reason, this L doesn't bother me as much as it normally would. It's kinda weird, but I almost feel like they can have this one. One of my co-workers said earlier that if Ty doesn't play and we have to take the L tonight to ensure his return and ultimate success (NCAA Champ) then he'll take it. I don't like L's, but honestly I feel like Carolina will have the last laugh when it's all said and done. So on the strength of that, puke can have this one. Like Pac said there will be "Payback, I know you bitch n*ggas from way back..."



Another thing I'd like to say is I WISH Roy would play Graves more and sit that SORRY ASS ALEX STEPHESON (a.k.a. Kwame Brown) DOWN!!! That dude sux. I hate to talk about a Tar Heel like that, but damn!!! Thompson, Hansbrough, and Graves should be the rotation...

Appearently UNC is one dimisional too b/c when that diminsion was taken away, the fukkin lost. Man, don't make no excuses for UNC. Either one of these teams could have lost or won tonight. Not b/c of who was playing and who wasn't. Not b/c Duke hit a lot of threes, b/c UNC scouted them fuckas and knew they would be shooting threes all night. Either team could have won this game b/c the are RIVALS. I fukkin HATE excuses and what ifs. Dude said tonight Coach K INCREASED his record to 32-32 against UNC. THEY ARE RIVALS. In two weeks, Ellington will hit those open looks he had and Duke will have to adjust. Lawson will play and Duke will have to adjust. Just like the refs will give the home team the benefit and UNC will have to adjust.

These team are close talent wise- Hell Duke actually has a 8-5 Mcdonalds All-American advantage. They are 8 miles apart. What makes the shit great is that either team could win when they play regardless of the records. Don't make excuses though.

2) Tyler "The Flopper" Hansborough .......How the hell does a man his size keep falling to the damn floor over some incidental damn contact?? I don't recall seeing Shelden Williams falling down when a little ass PG bumped into him.

3) Roy "Two-Tone Hair" Williams with his "I'm about to damn faint ass".....Sit the fuck down!!!

4) Tyler aka Bug Eye aka Deer Staring in the Headlights aka Dumb ASS....GTFOH. He looks like a damn retard, you can just picture him saying "Hi, My name is TYLER (drool coming down his chin!!!)

5) If Ty Lawson was in the game .....blah blah blah....No mention that our 7 footer been out and we didn't have a true big man on the floor; however we adjusted our gameplan unlike fucking Carolina (big coaching advantage to DUKE!!)

I Hate Tar Heels and I always will. Can't even wear manly colors with their powder fucking blue uniforms...GTFOH !!!!!

You are correct. What I said was not about making excuses. All I did was type my assessment of the game I saw. If I were making excuses I would have started by saying they beat us because Ty didn't play. I would say things like the refs made bad calls, etc... It's not about that. If any one of the things I wrote about would have been different Carolina would have won. These teams are rivals, and the games are always competitive which is why we love to see it. As I mentioned earlier Puke is 1 dimensional . Even though you claimed Carolina is you never denied the pukies being that way. I'm a Carolina fan, but I don't see the team as being 1 dimensional because even though we like to play fast we can go half court. We were sloppy at times, and of course we played with out Lawson, but the complexion of the game would be different if we made shots. Green and Ellington had some good looks, but they rimmed out. I know you saw the 3 Wayne took late in the game that spun around the rim, hit the back board, and became a brick. That's the way the ball bounced last night, but it shows the team can play that style. Puke's style is to shoot 3's. It's all good though, we'll see them again...

I understand what you are saying too dog, but "but the complexion of the game would be different if we made shots." is an excuse. The game would have been different if we had missed shots. :lol: It just is what it is. UNC KNEW what Duke was about. They knew we were a spread offense and a three point shooting team. THEY NEVER CHANGED UP TO STOP IT. They just got outplayed last night. Green and Ellington needed to show up last night. They didn't. Nothing less nothing more. In two weeks, who knows?

And I will admit that Duke is one diminsional in the sense that we don't pound it into the post. But we can play this offense fast (against UNC) or slow (against NC State) and still win with it. Nebraska was one diminsional in the 90's; didn't mean they weren't a good team though. What makes this rivalry important is that both of these teams are always good and are usually national championship contenders.

The next game should be a good one. Honestly do you worry about your squad on an off night? When the shots don't fall what will they do? This was the first time I actually saw you guys play, and I want to ask if Paulus is really that good of a jump shooter or was he just hot? Whatever the case may be, I'm actually not as upset by this as I usually am when we lose (especially to your punk ass team). I saw some positives from our standpoint. It's weird, but it's kinda like what happened to the Giants after the first New England game. My squad will be back at you in due time. You guys can have this one, you needed it anyway because we were on a winning streak against you (I think it was 3 of the last 4)... As far as Roy goes, he has vertigo so every now and then he gets a little woozy...
 
Yeah, you guys had won the last three, but we had won the seven before that. Paulus has been shooting like that since the end of last year. I think he has taken over the role of big shot taker for the team. But the true ace is Scheyer. Dude comes off the bench and never comes out of the game after. A UNC fan told me last night that he is the college version of Ginoboli. I am not worried about a off night of shooting with this team either b/c they do score in the paint with Henderson, Nelson, and Singler. Just not conventional pounding it in points. I think UNC actually has more to work on right now. They haven't been right since the Clemson game they almost lost (and the team they play next). Then they lost to Maryland. And they grinded it out against FSU. And they had a couple of other close ones in there. And those were WITH Lawson.

Roy is great, I won't sit here and say differently. But he is suspect to me since his Kansas (can't win in the final four) days. I don't know, maybe it's just my hate.
 
Man they got in our Ass, we'll see them again...:confused::confused::confused:It's all about being in the Final Game!!! Although Roy's coaching style does scare me sometimes!!! I got family in Chapel Hill and Durham.When these teams play its like The Mccoys and Hatfields. Niggaz damn near shoot each other during the game. Afterwards everybody drinking on the "WHITE"!!!!
