Tar Heel fan here. If Ty Lawson isn't 100%, it will be tough to beat dook. Quentin Thomas is a flat out bum.
Lawson doubtful with high ankle sprain
Ty Lawson's left ankle isn't broken, but North Carolina coach Roy Williams doesn't feel confident that his starting point guard will be able to play Wednesday at home against Duke.
"Right now I don't think the chances are real good," Williams said. "I don't mind going out on a limb."
Williams said X-Rays came back negative after Lawson suffered a high ankle sprain on Sunday night early in the overtime win against Florida State.
Lawson, who is averaging 13.6 points and 5.7 assists per game this season, won't practice today and Williams said he'll have a better idea after practice on Tuesday.
With backup Bobby Frasor out for the season after a torn ACL in late-December, senior Quinton Thomas will get the brunt of the minutes if Lawson is unable to play against the Blue Devils.
After Lawson left four minutes into the game, Thomas went the rest of the way against Florida State and finished with nine points, six assists and five rebounds in 36 minutes.
"I don't feel real good about him playing," Williams said of Lawson. "But we'll have to wait and see."

Lawson doubtful? Not a good omen.
He can recover quickly but not this quick. He bent it back in the FSU game yesterday. Maybe momentum will win this for us. Fuck DUKE

not hard to look good in the weakest conference. memphis do have some ballas but you can judge how good they are in the weak ass conference.

It's going to be tough for QT to handle Duke's pressure. I hope he can take some SuperMan juice before the game and have the game of his life. Hell' all I need him to do is get the ball past half court and get it to Hans or Ellington. If he can do that, I think the Heels can take. OTH, if he plays like he played at Clemson, it's going to be a long night for the Heels.
