An Oregon man lists people on his website that he says have incurable STDs

You are correct Onyx, but if someone volunteers to release their information, it becomes a cloudy issue based on which state you reside in and the interpretation of the HIPAA laws.

I work in public health and this guy needs to be hung by his gonads. It is already hard enough to get people infected with HIV, Syphilis, Gonorrhea, and other STDs to reveal their partners for notification and testing even with us promising to keep their identity anonymous.

This asshole doesn't realize that people still are losing their jobs, being evicted from apartments/homes, and being treated as pariahs when it is discovered that they have HIV, herpes, or even curable diseases such as Syphilis, or Tuberculosis. With idiots like this fool, no one will be willing to admit their contacts or get tested for their ailments.

That is so true and I think that is something that discourages people from getting tested as well.
