1. Wage Suppression
2. Poor Unionization Rate of workers
3. Poor Unionization strategies - (not acquiring voting stock of company to prevent flight of companies to other countries)
4. Lack of Employee Representation in the Board Room
5. Lack of Public Financing of Elections
6. Employment at will
7. Police state that supports Corporate interests
8. Lack of a social safety net
9. Lack of Support from the Government in Setting up Worker Cooperatives - I am also disappointed by the lack of the government assistance in providing funding to help workers form cooperatives. Hugo Chavez helped setup cooperatives that employ millions of people. Where is the government help in setting these up with laws, loans-financiing, and support? Why does everything have to be a corporation? Can't the government setup a legal business entity with a lower tax for the purposes of being a worker cooperative and to encourage it?

Especially with companies that are getting guaranteed loans from the government with your tax money or getting a substantial amount of government contracts. Why does the ownership still remain with a few people, the government should demand workers get a certain percentage of ownership, board seats, or turn the company into a full cooperative. This will prevent the company from going overseas later after building up their business to increase profits.

10. Poor taxation of the Rich
11. Lack of access to capital to start companies for the middle class.
12. Poor Antitrust/Monopoly Enforcement.

Finally, another big thing that is causing poor wealth distribution is wage suppression. You look for a job, and they all appear to be paying the same low wage within five cents of each other or you can only get a job after you lose one. Nobody wants to hire you while working a job, only after being unemployed for a year. The FBI catches a couple of companies engaging in anti-trust activity to suppress wages, but it is like the drug trade, you stop one drug shipment but 9 more get through onto the market. You aren't even dealing with a 'free' market to negotiate your wages.
