In this case, the board is a pretty good reflection of real life. We as men have an overhwelming proclivity to be assholes. Sorry, that's just the way it is. However, I have noticed the trend is also to be (and yes I KNOW its a porn board) when posts are made of a somewhat intelligent and educational nature they are quickly pushed aside for the ones that BG infers to. If I were to go to the last few pages I am sure I could bump a lot of the "good" stuff and it would quickly make it back to the bottom.

I would like to think that SOL is more than "dick" pics though. I wish there was a way to get the women to participate more. But, most it seems are content to lurk and observe. I don't think it looks grim from the standpoint that SOL as a contrast to the mainboard seems to be desireable to a lot of male and female posters for whatever reasons be it the flexibility of the topics with a lower clownage threshold, E-Beef lite vs full on fuck and expose you and your whole family e-beef, and in general just talking in a mixed crowd versus a predominantely single sex crowd...and yeah on the low some of yall making love connections don't lie soooo I think SOL will be ok, but the "sistas" part will likely always pale comparison to the other things I mentioned.

Your top threads on SOL are began by men, and I'm talking about the ones, we all can participate in, including heterosexual men, and that are of merit.

If you observe the trends of SOL, when Men do not participate in discussion, SOL is a ghost town.

This is why I started a game thread, and have more in time, because interaction causes high participation, in the forum as a whole!

You have great SOL mods here, to make sure bullshit stays at a minimum.

An the best way to instigate change, is to lead by example, and in time, I'm sure more women will begin, starting threads and participating more.

The brother has a point. SOL isn't as active as the main board. I've started threads over there and within a few minutes gotten several hits and even a few responses. On this side things don't move as fast. I'm not really sure why that is, but allot of threads, at least the ones for everyone, seem to die pretty quickly here. I guess the "FOR WOMEN ONLY" joints are the attention grabbers for the ladies of SOL...

My reasoning for posting here is to keep SOL active to ensure it was worth the effort to establish an additional forum. When word first started circulating about the forum the main board wanted SOL to fail, many of them still do. I for one do not! However Shane is right at times SOL is like a ghost town. If my memory serves me correctly one of SOL's own posted a thread about the inactivity on the forum.

Input on established threads and new threads started by anyone should be welcome since daily activity within this forum is minimal at best. As for picking up women, PM'ing someone of interest is the way to go, not in an open forum. I'm sure we all know that.

As for the counseling sometimes men want the views of women. Most men will not discuss relationship matters with other men. Just not in our nature. Serious relationship discussions can never take place on the main board without excessive clowning, the mentality is simply not there. Many women posting within this forum are sincere with their feedback and usually post well thoughtout responses. We all need a little help every once and awhile. Who better to turn to than our own sistas.
