Somehow it seems that lately SOL has disintigrated into all these lame ass "advice" and/or baiting threads started by "men". Then, when a woman starts a thread, it gets hijacked by "men". Some of these questions are so fucking retarded they dont deserve any answer from anyone. Are some of you trying to pick up chicks on SOL off sympathy points or something? It already backfired. :hmm: Your attempted bait threads also backfired long ago. It is just sad that more men are posting on SOL than women and I have just spelled out the reasons why. GROW THE FUCK UP BOYS!!!!!

This seems to be an awfully not well thought out statement.

Your top threads on SOL are began by men, and I'm talking about the ones, we all can participate in, including heterosexual men, and that are of merit.

If you observe the trends of SOL, when Men do not participate in discussion, SOL is a ghost town.

This is why I started a game thread, and have more in time, because interaction causes high participation, in the forum as a whole!

You have great SOL mods here, to make sure bullshit stays at a minimum.

An the best way to instigate change, is to lead by example, and in time, I'm sure more women will begin, starting threads and participating more.

My reasoning for posting here is to keep SOL active to ensure it was worth the effort to establish an additional forum. When word first started circulating about the forum the main board wanted SOL to fail, many of them still do. I for one do not! However Shane is right at times SOL is like a ghost town. If my memory serves me correctly one of SOL's own posted a thread about the inactivity on the forum.

Input on established threads and new threads started by anyone should be welcome since daily activity within this forum is minimal at best. As for picking up women, PM'ing someone of interest is the way to go, not in an open forum. I'm sure we all know that.

As for the counseling sometimes men want the views of women. Most men will not discuss relationship matters with other men. Just not in our nature. Serious relationship discussions can never take place on the main board without excessive clowning, the mentality is simply not there. Many women posting within this forum are sincere with their feedback and usually post well thoughtout responses. We all need a little help every once and awhile. Who better to turn to than our own sistas.

I tend to agree Shane. However, I have noticed the trend is also to be (and yes I KNOW its a porn board) :rolleyes: when posts are made of a somewhat intelligent and educational nature they are quickly pushed aside for the ones that BG infers to. If I were to go to the last few pages I am sure I could bump a lot of the "good" stuff and it would quickly make it back to the bottom.

I would like to think that SOL is more than "dick" pics though. I wish there was a way to get the women to participate more. But, most it seems are content to lurk and observe. :dunno: Where the females are concerned I think we could count on our hands those that are actively participating.We have over 100 roll called females. :) Whats one to do.

I have no problem with the men asking question if they sincerely want the opinions of females. I think its a great thing.The majority of the males who DO post over here are some of the more intelligent ones on the board. Give thanks bredren :)

Sol is like Bgol- lite. Without the brothers posting there really isn't an SOL BG since as Lady S mentioned only a handful of us card carrying ovary havers post on the regular. I'm not sure why more women don't yet feel comfortable, but SOL is still new. Keep hope alive.

But for real, the ass kissing for attention by some guys on SOL is nauseating. I know it has to be sickening to some of the females to hear the platitudes just to get your attention. I’m sure there is a lot of PMing behind the scenes between males and females, but the groveling by some of the guys is pathetic!

In this case, the board is a pretty good reflection of real life. We as men have an overhwelming proclivity to be assholes. Sorry, that's just the way it is. You as women, who deal with us on a day to day basis throughout your lives, know this. The only way to eliminate this assholeishness is to eliminate men from the board. You won't do that, because after it's all said and done you really dig us. I don't know if it's a hard dick, or muscles or our voices or what da fuck ever, but no way you are going to have a porn forum w/o men. I'm very cool with that.

Though I have been on BGOL for a long time (I changed my nick to come over here), I have never posted on the other sides. Cats are just too fucking stupid for me. Here there is a good bit of intelligent life. Just like on the real side, women have a civilizing influence on us, and our behavior does in fact improve. I can make what I think are intelligent replies to intelligent comments. And if someone says something studid, thre is no need to be ugly, just say, hey, cat, that doesn't make any fucking sense. A civilized way to be if you ask me.
