People don't realize hes playing a character.All that corny singing for white folks shit he used to do is what caught on after trying other shit to make it in tha game.That shit paid his bills so he said fuck it and ran with it.

I haven't listened to what Wayne Brady has to say, but obviously the quote has made its rounds. What's with all of this co-signing of Wayne and his apparent toughness? Nobody thought Wayne was a tough guy until he showed up on the Chappelle Show, acting, like a tough guy? Are people supposed to be watching out for him now?
 
It's fun to make the Oreo jokes on Wayne Brady, but fact of tha matter he is black and does represent us well. There's enough of those that perpetuate the "black" stereotype already, why not have a guy that doesn't perpetuate it?

Can't speak for anybody else but I still thought he was a straight up bama after tha Chappelle skit.It wasn't until I heard him tell his story and then my opinion of him changed.

I was a fan of Wayne since "Whose Line" and Bill's since PI was on Comedy Central.

I actually watch Bill regularly and agree with many of his political points...

but after watching that interview it REALLY made me rethink.

We ALL made those Wayne Brady jokes though back in the day...that is what birthed one of Chappelle's most brilliant sketches.

But pretty much after THAT I really saw Wayne in a whole new light.

Applaud that man.

I like Brady and Maher, I think a lot of Maher's shit is taken outta context but one thing he did do was put his money where his mouth is when he donated a cool million to the Obama campaign.
