Renee Jones My mom was said to be the best chitlins cooker in the neighborhood. She cleaned them for half the day and cooked them for them other half. Oh, the smell, I never ate them then and won't touch them now.

I was fed them as a child and most of my family made a big deal over them, so yeah now I enjoy them as well. I've cleaned, cooked, and eaten chitlins many times. I actually have them very rarely, like once every couple years rarely, but still....
