Was Yoda Already Dead?

totally incorrect. he's just trying to make sense of all the plot holes from the original trilogy.

Using what we saw in the Prequel and original trilogy...:

10) Yoda went into EXILE.

9) He never had a reason to leave Dagobah because he was in EXILE.

8) Yoda didn't have a lightsaber because he lost it in the duel against the Emperor in Episode III.

7) Yoda, like other Jedi do not need to touch an object in order to move it. He used the Force.

6) Yoda was cooking food for Luke. WTF kind of ghost would cook food?

5) Yoda said the cave is filled with the dark side. The residual haunting crap makes no sense. Luke had a vision.

4) For all Darth Vader knew, Yoda was probably dead. Not like the Emperor never lied to him. besides, since Yoda was in exile, there is no reason for Darth to think of Yoda, it had been over 20 years or so since the Jedi fell.

3) Ectoplasm mist? Fuck outta here, it was a swamp planet.

2) Luke was STRONG with the Force. The Force ghost made themselves visible to those they wanted.

1) Yoda DIES and disappears (becomes one with the Force) just like Obi Wan did when he let Vader kill him.

Damn good answer!

Did Yoda battle the Sith Count Dokuu(sp)?

He went to visit him in 'Dark Rendevous' to see where his head was, size him up and give him a chance to come back. Just by him being there and working on Dooku in person (using the force) he possibly introduce enough doubt to survive that fight on Geonosis.
Yoda let Dooku know that Dark Side was nothing new to him after living for 800 years, then turned to briefly reveal what he meant (his face was withered and dark like Sidious).

Yoda was able to mask himself from the empire through a cave infused with Dark Side energy - the one he made Luke walk through. When Sidious or Vader or the teams they sent out tried to probe the force to find a Jedi or specifically Yoda and Kenobi they would see the emptiness of that cave. Think of the force as a message board, instead of the user choosing the Avatar/Sig the viewer can customize how the user appears, Yoda saw himself as a mighty Sun through the force, Dooku viewed Yoda as a brick wall on a dead end street, Sidious saw Yoda as that little toad Jar Jar and Zebulba were fighting over. Contrastly, Kenobi viewed force users as they were as a way to show superiority or reverence depending on how they choose to appear.

Nice!
Thanks for that answer

I watched the Jar Jar theory several times but no mention anywhere else on the net of Lucas chickening out on a Sith reveal or collusion.
If JJ Abrams takes the bait then seeing that plot twist unfold would be pretty cool.

Wait what do you mean plot twist? And what is this stuff about Darth Jar Jar

Remember the silly, bumbly act Yoda was doing on Dagobah before the force voice of Obi wan gave him away? The theory is that Jar Jar was doing the same thing. Looking at it from a point of view, Jar Jar could be considered to be working for the Sith, or the orchestrator of the whole thing. I think Lucas discounted that theory though.

Yeah...it seemed plausible. But something like that would be difficult to confirm. It would be cool if they went in that direction and could pull it off.

Even if they don't flip the Jar Jar character. I am hoping they introduce the Darth Plauges character into the films.

Darth Plagueis has been rumored to be Kylo Ren's master Supreme Leader Snoke.
