Was there ever a sequel series to the Origins comic...?

No. There was Wolverine Origins and a Mini Series Sabertooth Origins that still kept the story vague.

But since you brought it up. My theory is Dog Logan is not Sabertooth. Dog Logan is actually Sabertooth's Biological Father. Dog Logan either raped or had an affair with the wife of Zebadiah Creed.
