They are right to come for him. The article just says most of what has already been said on here in other threads. I don't care for Killer Mike, and I haven't for some time. He often makes good points, but its surrounded by a sea of nonsense. Stacey Abrams has been going from black area to black area for YEARS. She founded Fair Fight Action. She along with a few other black voting groups are went to areas not normally visited by dems or the GOP. That's how they have had record numbers of registrations. Kemp meets with a black group 6 weeks before the election tho and we are supposed to forget all the other fuckery he committed during his time in office?? This is actually a good article as it has in one place what I have said over several posts in multiple threads.
Killer Mike has been all over the internet talking about what Stacey and other dems need to do for black folks to earn black votes and how she needs to meet with black folk and have a black agenda but, as the article states, he meets with Kemp and no longer gives a damn about policy. Killer Mike wants to be a King Maker where all candidates have to go through him. When he says she isn't meeting with black men, he means she isn't meeting with HIM, but it's all BS. All Kemp had to do was smile and shake his hand and he was his new best friend, policy be damned.
"More than anything, I’m a Southerner. I’m a Black man. I’ve been raised in a traditionally Democratic city. But my state is pretty conservative, always has been. So, as a Southern man, I connected pretty much instantly with him. Politics and policy don’t matter to me as much as human decency and principles, and he seemed to be a principled human being when I talked to him."
2raw2real is a lil on the sweet side, but he isn't overly annoying. CTG was at an event with Abrams with black men, and didn't correct any of Killer Mike's BS, either.
So I'll say what I said in the other thread:
He has spent years tearing down dems because of what they "won't" do for black people, tearing down Stacey saying she won't meet with black men (she has) and then gets two seconds of face time with Kemp and he feels a kinship with him? After all the bs Kemp has done that negatively affects black folks and all he has done to suppress the black vote? Seriously?
Let's just state clearly for the record what actually happened. He got treated with a lil respect from the white power structure, which made him feel like he is somebody, now suddenly policy no longer matters, and he appears to now be pro Kemp because that white approval is more important to him and what he is trying to do career wise than how the rest of the Black folk are faring in GA. Period. He appears to me to be no more than an opportunist.
