Quick as a mug??? They have let him ride things out for a year with no challenge and apparent issues. They've ignored the bad polling, the low approval rates, the fact that large amounts of people in multiple states decided to vote uncommitted rather than for Biden to voice their displeasure with him particularly in regards to Gaza and his actions which he ignored and continued to do. They have ridden with him until now when not only is his polling numbers bad but the things that he needs to do in order to reinvigorate himself like a good debate performance he failed at. He doesn't do a ton of campaigning cause he's prone to slip up there to and worst of all he doesn't promote himself.
He had the chance to have an interview that would air just before the Super Bowl game and 2 years in a row he turned down the interview and the opportunity to pump up his accomplishments to millions of viewers. Did he do that because he's stupid or because he doesn't even trust himself to give a good job in that situation?
And the only reason that he's being turned on now is because not only has he made his reelection chances worse and done a bad enough job that dragged down the entire Democratic party as well and he's also put both sides of Congress in grave danger for the rest of the party.

this has been explained many many times yet there are dem so called "leaders " who keep making public statements of no faith in Biden...well

Biden is the only chance and the ONLY CHOICE you have because if you change who is being run the GOP is looking to make it in to a court mater and the courts are stacked with Trump appointees right up to the Supreme Court

legally - the dems have to say who they want on the ballot in several states in one particular state 2 days before they even have the convention - so legally for the ballot to be valid and for people to be able to vote for even Biden - he has to be on the ballot.

if those ballots get changed - just because - it will result in a cascade of lawsuits and legal actions that will throw the whole process in disarray and make it likely LESS vote get counted for whoever the Dem is ---- that by the way NO ONE has said who this candidate will be ....
