Obvious this thread is full of cats too scared to leave the house and never went to a wings/burger joint like hooters and had a waitress flirt for tipsthe waitress's side of the story

The waitress who got stiffed by Warren Sapp says she never tried to INSULT the ex-NFL star ... claiming he simply OVERREACTED when she approached the table and said, "Hey boys."
The waitress -- who goes by Corey -- called in to the Andy Slater Show on WINZ in Miami and said she went up to Warren's table and said, "Hey boys what can I get you to drink?"
Corey said Warren stopped her in her tracks and said, "We're not boys. I'm a man!"
Corey says she then used other names like "sugar" and "honey" to address Sapp.
The waitress also says she was NOT the one who posted Sapp's receipt to the Internet -- but she did throw a family member under the bus.

Why is it even news that this dude didn't leave a tip? Especially since he said why? If it concerns a black man and negative, the media just latches on to it. Entitled ppl. I've waited tables b4 and guess what? Sometimes ppl dont tip. Sometimes ppl r assholes, or the food came out late or wrong, or sometimes ppl dont know the proper tipping protocol or whatever. U fucking clean the plates off the table and move on with your life. This shit is stupid! Some ppl under tip and others over tip, it all averages out, this is so fucking stupid and entitled.

Warren Sapp is a high profile celebrity and has a job that requires him to travel and eat out a lot. If he were set off by your"hi boys" comment. It would be well known by now. Something extra must hasn't happened here.
I've been lucky. I don't eat at formal restaurants much, but I hear white wait staff call white guys 'boys' a lot. But when they get to my table, they say "How can I help you gentlemen?"

Probably wasn't a big enough deal to go to the manager. If the service was bad, or they were rude, withhold the tip, that's the purpose of it. He left her a note letting her know how she fucked up, I think he handled that well.

Keeping it real....Back in my late teens I used to over tipping. I used to hear about Black folks not tipping, so i was tryna "represent for the Black people".
I stopped doing that bs overtime.
I dont eat out a lot....but i get food delivered sometimes if i have company over. My tip amounts are based off the attitudes of the delivery person, waitress/waiter.
I look at it this way..........

You may hate your job, but that doesnt give you the right to project your stress on me. Im good at reading body language.....reading eyes etc.

Me and my family went to a local asian restaurant and the service was horrible. The waitress ignored us the whole meal while taking care of the fat white folks next too us as is she was there live in maid. She finally came around and asked if we wanted refills on our drinks when we were dam near done eating. Mind you she refilled the fat white folks up twice while we were there. I also need to mention that they were already seated and eating when we first arrived.
After she brought our refills she came back in less than ten minutes with the check. Again, the fat white folks had not seen a check yet but she felt the need to bring us ours. When we got done I picked up the check and took it to the cashier at the front to pa so I would't have to tip this bitch shit because she didn't deserve shit. She broke her neck to come up to the cashier and said thank you to me in her "I don't speak english" kind of way over and over again in anticipation of a tip. I simply said your welcome and left.
My wife asked me why I didn't tip and I told her that she didn't do shit to deserve a tip. It aint my fault that she made the career choice of serving food so I shouldn't feel obligated to supplement her income when I received shitty service.
I ordered some take out the other day, came up to 16 and some change. I give her a 20, she says thanx cutie you need napkins. She actually expected a 3+ dollar tip. So i switch it up pull out my credit card a say you know I'm gonna pay with my card. She looked pissed!!
Man I hate that shit.... Especially from bartenders when I only order one drink. Fuck I look like tipping on one overpriced beer?
