I got my fair share of ass kickings when I was a kid, but a cold shower is too much. He was crying before she turned the shower on, so you know she has done this at least once before, maybe even multiple times. Parents create strange methods of disciplining their child, from time outs, to "whuppins", to taking away electronics, and not doing anything at all. Truth be told, I'd rather have an abusive parent that is tough on me because they want me to excel, than to have a neglecting parent, that's never around, doesn't care if i'm going to school, and doesn't stay on top of me doing my homework/studying.
