Absolutely. And i think all of that does play into it. But there is some merit to what he says. He sees, Logic, Cole, Drake mainstream and mass appeal and knows he is more talented and/or as talented and that has to bother him. They all make "lightskin" music but he isnt as successful as they are.

Its no coincidence that his best body of work was (section 80) was highly slept on and initially did do do numbers. But once he further embraced and promoted his gangbang culture and got a Dre partnership he went to the moon. Also, he isnt lightskin but hes definitely not as dark as Wale.

I'm surprise you would buy any music being that drake is your cousin.. Usually a person like you would get most of their music free..I know industry people and I use to get some albums and merchandise for free
