No its not the music per-say, its the kids who have real mental problems and a inability to distinguish between reality and fantasy thats the problem. The next problem is that there are fat cow record companies who make a killing catering to these types of kids, knowing dame well that a good number of these kids don't have the mental make up to filter out this crap, even though there is ton of data that prove the correlation between violent music and violent action. One guy tried to bring up movies and how violent they are, but the difference is that no normal kid is going to look at a violent movie over and over again the way some listen to this type of music, and if they did, yes you would see more kids wilding out over movies.
By arguing against what I am saying you are arguing against countless research that proves that repetitive violent music and lead to violent behavior in some individuals and unless your are some psychologist who has credentials in the field, i seriously doubt if you are qualified to make such a claim.
