Speaking about her children, Barger told her younger beau, "I'm sure they'll cry for a minute or two," authorities said.
The Bargers were married for 22 years and had three children together, the newspaper reported.

Cops said Melissa Barger's murder plot never materialized because Pavlisin told police about it after he was busted trying to steal the murder weapon on May 7.
He agreed to wear a wire, recording three conversations about the planned hit with Melissa Barger.
During one conversation, Pavlisin asked, "You want him dead and gone?"
Barger responded, "It's the only way I'm going to get away from him," according to reports.

Barger was also being held in jail on burglary charges.
Authorities said Lee Barger was blindsided to learn his wife wanted him dead.
