I was getting the same thing, I'm on a PC running Symantec Endpoint Version 11.0.6200, it popped up on the bgol.us sign in page for like the last day or two, I just tried to do it again when I saw this post but nothing.

Happened to me this morning around 8:15 AM EST. I'm running ESET Smart Security version 5.2.9.1. The name of the virus it detected is HTML/Iframe.B.Gen virus.

Also another ESET alert popped up referencing the domain dpoalpha.com. According to Google, that's the Delta Phi Omega sorority site. ESET doesn't like that site at all. I don't know why a message about that site popped up in ESET from me visiting BGOL but that's what happened.

The above 2 alerts popped up just from me going to http://www.bgol.us/board/forums.php, I was not in a specific thread.

This time, I decided to run my web browser sandboxed with Sandboxie before coming here and no alerts so far. Considering that I often get Malwarebytes alerts while I'm on this site anyway, I figure it makes no sense to come here without a "condom" so I'll be running Sandboxie every time now :smh:

Vbulletin is susceptible to iframe viruses for obvious reasons (iframe = vbulletin platform).

If you want attack any forums using vbulletin, start at the foundation. Some disgruntled loser has figure out a way to vent their frustrations by attacking Bgol (hackers). Shit has started to get out of hand now. Started becoming noticeable about three years back; dudes are just brazen now. Hnic should have taking heed back then. We have some really fucked up, twisted grudge holding fuckers on this site.

(Must have):
Malware anti bytes pro
Spybot
Opera
Comodo firewall

ya need to round up all them threads people made
i had a bunch of them shits pop up on me, just dont remember much of the details....

c'mon TEN.

you KNOW it's only 1-3 dumbfucks who wrangled some lurkers to intentionally post shit in threads: viruses, scripts, redirects.

soft bitches should be perma banned, because their motivation is revenge for hurt feelings.

they target certain users by populating specific threads with malware, then when they get the information they think they need for their man-googling, they delete the "code" embedded in their posts. that's why the alerts don't come back up later.

If you have any names and evidence of this please PM them to me.

wtf. I was looking on behold a minute ago. I walked away from the computer for a second and when I came back there was a fake FBI seizure notice on the screen and my web came was on!?! I cut the computer off and am rebooting now.

1. what the hell misleads/virus does that?
2. what anti virus/malware gets rid of that BS?

any answer ASAP would be appreciated.

i got a trojan that cause ads to pop up at regular intervals..seemingly from out of nowhere..and for no reason...

i've run several virus and trojan scans...with various programs...they find the trojan/virus ... and they say they're gonna remove it...and have removed it..

but when i do another scan..it pops up again...

WTF.. got this a few minutes ago along with the routine dpoalpha virus warning..

I don't think it is a virus persay I just think that the virus protections dont like some of the image hosting sites.

As long as this has been going on & as many instances of it occurring now.. why isnt this shit being addressed? Say a white boy's name and its First 48 tho :smh:
