Kentucky is an arrogant machine that doesn't understand it's past it's prime. While I think Gillespie has done a terrible job, I think he deserves another year.

I was referring to Tubby Smith. And if Coach K was not Coach K, with the Duke expectations, if he failed to reach the Final Four or win a championship within the next 5 years people some would be calling for his head. Especially if UNC gets a few more.

And I'm not saying he deserves to be fired or anything like that. He just won't win a nat'l championship recruiting the players he does.

Fail and I hate Duke with a passion. But give Coach K some credit. There's only a handful of teams that can fuck with duke year in and year out and it sure isn't VT, BC or Miami (at least in basketball)

1) Wake, GTech, Duke are true institutions of higher learning and the admission is a bitch...so yeah ballers will come but its strict for the unadulterated baller..

2) They refuse to play or schedule real athletic teams outta conference from power conferences...and even when they do its an ACADEMIA like Georgetown, the primary reason they got they ass tore up by Michigan this year..heres the catch the schedule was solidified when Duke alum Amaker was coach and a poor coach at that and wouldve lost.

3) and miss me with that Coach K job well done...them motherfuckas get all the calls

4) My former coach is none other than David Cutcliffe and he says he's a whining, condescending bitch...so Im rolling with my old coach, who ironically actually did a helluva job last season..Now fuck you

7500 students They are a private school and regardless of being smug wanna be eliitst and their following yet they still have a private school budget..., which is why they love playing storied Hoops programs with (NO Prominent Football Programs (see Georgetown/Providence etc), cause football programs with 80k on Saturdays are Budget makers and eventually can expose their lack of true Athleticism (see LSU 2006-7).


As I stated in my post...The scam continues, under the guise of the ACC is soooooo superior when its not and before until Miami/VT/BC 80% of all games played on a given night would be in the state of North Carolina:lol: matter of fact Duke is 5th place Big East squad at best.


Duke's 3 or 4 games that wouldnt be played in the ACC are nothing more than field trips...

MSG- Let the boys see NYC and do a lil private school recruiting

DC- Play Georgetown or George Mason and sight see

Maui- Pre season vacation to Hawaii for Wojo and Chris lol.

I have always been a Duke hater,but...I admire their excellence,and the way they play.

If your point is that for the most part their players don't make good pros...that is even more of a feather in the cap of Coach K and his program.

This season...he's missed probably the number one player in next year's draft,and still they are on the verge of winning.

Coach K even has Doc River's kid coming next year...the #1 high school player.Looks like they gonna be around the title next year too...
