Also jordan basically missed damn near his whole second season with a broken leg so of course the bulls didn’t do shit that yr.. so basically jordan had only 1 yr to get a chip without pippen.. the jordan facts people don’t want you to know
All I've ever heard is that Jordan made Pippen a Hall of Famer so how come he didn't make any of those guys
or the last years.
He played with George Gervin who was in his final year. But yeah he had bums like Dave Corzine getting minutes when he was first in the league.Pretty sure all the players you named had hall of fame players on those teams….how many hall of fame players did Jordan play with in his early years?
Charles Oakley responds to pippen

Fisher is no where near being a HOF. But Shaq and Pau Gasol are and Kobe ain’t win shit without them.Since cacs created the jordan never won without pippen.. I’ll say Kobe never won a chip without Derrick fisher.. now how many people actually think Derrick fisher made Kobe great? Yet Kobe has never won a ring without him
When Jordan took his talents to play baseball for the Chicago White Sox, Pippen got his chance to finally be the Batman of the team. He won MVP honors at the All-Star game. He also led his team in most of the statistical categories on the team as well as being named on the All-NBA first team for the first time, and was third in the MVP voting. During the Eastern Conference Final, the Bulls were one bad call away from making the Finals. They lost to the New York Knicks, but this showed how talented Pippen really was. However, Jordan's first three seasons without Pippen, he was swept in the first round.
Pippen did what Jordan didn't want to do or couldn't. He guarded the opposing team's best offensive player so that Jordan could roam the lanes to pick off passes. The defensive prowess of Pippen and Jordan were the catalyst to all those championships. Pippen is also widely considered the top defensive wing player of all-time. Pippen easily could have scored more, but allowed the more capable Jordan to and was a facilitator.
It's a team sport. All those players depend on each other. Pippen thinks he's Willie Beaman?Since cacs created the jordan never won without pippen.. I’ll say Kobe never won a chip without Derrick fisher.. now how many people actually think Derrick fisher made Kobe great? Yet Kobe has never won a ring without him
pip need to let this shit go....lol. everybody know the bulls wasn't shit before he joined mike. everybody know the bulls weren't shit when mike retired. scottie and mike made each other better. both in the hall of fame top 75 players. same number of chips. dude can be salty about the last dance, his ex wife getting knocked down. but us fans seen them on the court together and on new teams. come on scottie
I never engage clowns who try to give Pip more credit for Jordan's success than he deserves...Some of us were actually around and remember how trash the Bulls were when Mike got there. Most of these young cats and bronsexuals hug that Pippen narrative and have no idea how much bitchassery Mike had to go through with Scottie's punk ass. Jordan had to put the battery in that bitch ass niggas back. The Pistons and Knicks and the tougher teams of the era specifically targeted Scottie. Laimbeer elbowed him in gm 6 in 89 at the beginning of the game and Scottie was scared to go back in the game. The next year was the migraine game 7. You can't forget about Scottie refusing to go in the game vs the Knicks in '94 in the Eastern Conference Finals when Kukoc hit the game winner. Scottie is a lame, always has been a lame and always will be a lame. I left out many other examples of his bitchassness because it would be overkill...
You never hear Jordan made Pippen whatever from Jordan fans cuz we don’t need to validate the GOAT
And Jordan and Pippen won with role players…role players don’t make the Hall
He didn't really lie though... The early narrative on Jordan was a guy who shot and scored alot but didn't win anything besides scoring titles.
MJ stans refuse to acknowledge the first half of his career
What this mean
I hear it all the time from Jordan fans, they say Pippen is overrated and never would've been in the Hall of Fame or a Top 75 player if he hadn't played on Jordans team
That is not impossible. No need to rewrite history. Pippen was not a blue chip prospect and he didn't exactly dominate when he first came into the league. His ascent was very gradual and it was long established playing with Jordan and learning how to work hard helped him developed that raw potential he had.
Now, listen, he had to put in the work to get there - but anyone claiming Scottie Pippen was on a HOF trajectory when he came into the league is a damn lie.
Some players have great tools and have to work hard to polish - no different than what Giannis and Kawhi did. If they don't work as hard as they did, they don't come close to achieving what they have.
Jordan was a force out of college. Bob Knight said he was the best basketball player he had ever seen and that was before he played his first NBA game.
Jordan played with lots of players who didn't become what Pippen did so for people to try and take away his accomplishments by saying "if he hadn't played with Jordan he never wouldve been this or that" isn't right either
Are you telling me that Scottie Pippen was going to be Scottie Pippen regardless?
That is not how sports work and that is not how life works.
I think people are saying the same but the meaning behind their ways aren't the same.
Some people are acting like Jordan made Scottie Pippen something he was not. In a sense, calling him a system player.
That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying, Pippen was raw when he came out of college. The Bulls weren't even a great team and he didn't start at first.
There have been a lot of NBA players who had the tools to be great, who didn't become great, because they were guided properly and/or didn't have the work ethic to maximize their potential.
It is WELL DOCUMENTED that Scottie was pushed very hard by Jordan. I'm not even arguing Jordan is the only person he learned from, but Scottie talked about that shit years ago and it was well-documented through other sources.
If he went to another team, that didn't have anyone there to help him develop and push him - he could have been like countless other athletes: Unrealized potential.
Amazing scorer? The nig didn’t even score 20 points a game per season in 4 diff title runsPippen was dope as shit. The Bulls and Jordan do not win shit without him. That is the truth. I was watching back then. Not just listening to the narrative these days, or watching the Last Dance. Pippen was an amazing defender. Amazing scorer. Arguably the best in game dunker in the league, and ran the Bulls offense on the court as the Point Forward. Do not get me wrong, I believe that Jordan is the GOAT, but Pippen was amazing. For many years in the mid/late 80s and earlry part of the 90sthe talk was will Jordan ever win a title? That is a fact.
He only played 3 yrs b4 Scottie entered the league.. his rookie yr where he faced the dynasty Celtics ..the second yr he got injured for majority of the season and his team collapsed that yrHow many playoff series Mike won without Scottie?
Kobe won 2 titles without shaq.. he won 3 titles without gasol.. Kobe didn’t win no rings without Derrick fisher.. never 4get Kobe 5 rings all were won with dereck fisher by his side.. why don’t people start saying this truthFisher is no where near being a HOF. But Shaq and Pau Gasol are and Kobe ain’t win shit without them.
How many non HOF players did Jordan win with but I can name a few that Lebron won with.
He actually said it was the team play not any individuals sole contribution, including mikeIt's a team sport. All those players depend on each other. Pippen thinks he's Willie Beaman?
Before Pippen, Jordan didn't even win a 1st round playoff series. Not just a championship.
McHale won as a rookie
Wilkes won as a rookie
Ginobili won as a rookie
Magic won as a rookie
Russell won as a rookie
There are many players who won year 3 or before .
I only mentioned a few Hall of Famers.
And give one of those rings to Ewing for trying that fukkn finger roll ☺
