Obama was ASKED about it. He didn't bring it up. I doubt he even knows who Kanye is.

The "ole girl" doesn't need any "attention." Especially not that sort of disrespectful and embarrassing kind. She's one of the biggest recording (and concert) artists in the country. Currently of far more musical interest to people than West is.

Obama's a classic '70s rock, soul and Sinatra guy. He's into Springsteen and Earth, Wind & Fire. He's not an up-to-date rap nut. He knows Kanye primarily from the headlines, like the vast majority of middle-aged (non-rap) music fans.
