Ex-Mexican President Vicente Fox last night on CNN
Former Mexican President Vicente Fox confirmed the existence of a government plan to create the amero as a new regional currency to replace the U.S. dollar, the Canadian dollar and the Mexican peso, in an interview last night on CNN's "Larry King Live."

It possibly was the first time a leader of Mexico, Canada or the U.S. openly confirmed a plan to create a regional currency. Fox explained the current regional trade agreement is intended to evolve into other previously hidden aspects of integration.

According to a transcript published by CNN, King, near the end of the broadcast, asked Fox a question e-mailed from a listener, a Ms. Gonzalez from Elizabeth, N.J.: "Mr. Fox, I would like to know how you feel about the possibility of having a Latin America united with one currency?"

Fox answered in the affirmative, admitting he and President Bush had agreed to pursue the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas – a free-trade zone extending throughout the Western Hemisphere – and that part of the plan was to institute a regional currency from Canada to the tip of South America. (Hence the regionalization of the World, makes it easier to implement and manage Global Socialism.)

"Long term, very long term," he said. "What we proposed together, President Bush and myself, it's ALCA, which is a trade union for all the Americas." (Yes, but other 'conditions' must happen first in the short term, no?)

(Story continues below)

ALCA is the acronym for the Area de Libre Comercio de las Américas, the name of the FTAA in Spanish.

King, evidently startled by Fox's revelation of the currency, asked pointedly, "It's going to be like the euro dollar, you mean?"

"Well, that would be long, long term," Fox repeated.

Fox noted the FTAA plan had been thwarted by Hugo Chavez, the radical socialist president of Venezuela.

"Everything was running fluently until Hugo Chavez came," Fox commented. "He decided to combat the idea and destroy the idea." (Chavez an enemy to the NewWizardsofOz? This warrants further research.)

Fox explained that he and Bush intended to proceed incrementally, establishing FTAA as an economic agreement first and waiting to create an amero-type currency later – a plan Fox also suggested was in place for NAFTA itself. (Further underscoring the point that Bush is a Globalist, not a patriot.)

"I think the process to go, first step is trading agreement," Fox said. "And then further on, a new vision, like we are trying to do with NAFTA."

Fox's reply to the CNN viewer was captured in a clip posted on YouTube.com. CNN posted video of the interview but did not include the segment with questions from viewers.

Last week, WND reported BankIntroductions.com, a Canadian company that specializes in global banking strategies and currency consulting, is advising clients the amero may be the currency of North America within 10 years.

Coin designer Daniel Carr has issued for sale a series of private-issue fantasy pattern amero coins that have drawn attention on the Internet.

WND also reported the African Union is moving down the path of regional economic integration, with the African Central Bank planning to create the "Gold Mandela" as a single African continental currency by 2010. (1st I've heard of this; moreover, the NAU is set to begin also by 2010--apparently right on schedule)

The Council on Foreign Relations has supported regional and global currencies designed to replace nationally issued currencies. (Those fockers always seem to have their hand in something.)

In an article in the May/June issue of Foreign Affairs, entitled "The End of National Currency," CFR economist Benn Steil asserts the dollar is a temporary currency.

Steil concluded "countries should abandon monetary nationalism," moving to adopt regional currencies, on the road to a global "one world currency." (Nationalism, period is what they seek to destroy.)

WND previously reported Steve Previs, a vice president at Jeffries International Ltd. in London, said the amero "is the proposed new currency for the North American Community which is being developed right now between Canada, the U.S., and Mexico."

A video clip of the CNBC interview in November with Jeffries is now available at YouTube.com.

WND also has reported a continued slide in the value of the dollar on world currency markets could set up conditions in which the adoption of the amero as a North American currency gains momentum.

Ex-Mexico Prez: Racists Stop Immigration

http://wnyt.com/article/stories/S219578.shtml?cat=10104

(AP) NEW YORK - Former Mexican President Vicente Fox said Monday that the United States is letting racism dictate its policies, especially when it comes to immigration.

"The xenophobics, the racists, those who feel they are a superior race ... they are deciding the future of this nation," he said, without naming names, in an interview with The Associated Press.

In his first interview to promote his new book, "Revolution of Hope," Fox applauded President Bush’s desire to pass an immigration accord that would allow more Mexicans to work legally in the U.S.

But he criticized Bush for failing to pass the promised reform.

"There was always a reason for why it couldn’t be done. ’It is not possible because of the elections.’ He couldn’t touch the topic because this election is very important, or because security was more important," Fox said.

"So, when are they going to finally address it? It needs to be resolved."

Fox said he hopes his new book, written in English, helps Americans understand the Mexican point of view on immigration.

"To be so repressive isn’t democractic or free ... to be putting up fences, chasing Mexicans, that isn’t right," Fox said. "The U.S. needs better answers than repression, weapons and violence."

Fox also talked about his sometimes rocky relationship with Bush, a man he calls a "windshield cowboy" in his book.

Both men had worked together as governors of influential agricultural states in Mexico and the U.S. They began their presidential terms in office nearly eight years ago with close relations, and Bush even made a visit to Fox’s central Mexican ranch his first foreign trip as president in early 2001.

But they split ways on Iraq, after Fox refused to back the impending war.

"There are important differences between myself and President Bush, including the case of Iraq and other topics where we think and act differently," Fox said.

Fox also denied media and opposition allegations of illicit wealth that have arisen in Mexico, after a celebrity magazine published photos of his newly renovated ranch. He said the accusations were made "without any evidence."

"It’s just yellow journalism," he said.

I'm moving to London.

That is pretty dumb considering London is farther along than America is in terms of Big Brother being very prevalent in everyday life. There are literally camera's everywhere.

It's estimated that in the very near future close to 1.5 million cameras will be placed along the city streets.

http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/...cameras,+yet+80%+of+crime+unsolved/article.do

Cameras are placed just about everywhere and the public is told that it is used to stop crime.........yet the crime rates aren't reducing at all :hmm:

it's a smoke screen the cameras were never meant to prevent crime, but instead set up to watch you.

I won't have to do anything if the public wakes up and sees the discrepancies and lies we have been living under. This is the information age and more than ever people are starting to get an idea of what is really going and the methods implemented to keep us in our place. I have faith in humanity and I feel we will be able to overcome the atrocities that they have diligently planned for.

If we as a people fail to see what is coming and we do nothing and a New World Order is established I am as good as buried, because I refuse to live shackled physically and mentally. Going out in a hail of gun fire would be sufficient.

Well, political and economic reality may make an Amero reality sooner than you all think. The Euro has gained 70% against the US dollar in the last 5 years at the same time that the Canadian $ has gained 60%.

The problem of the US is that the US is trading with the world at a huge deficit. The US exports 2/3 as much as it imports and therefore trades at a deficit of 1/3. It also collects in taxes in 2/3 of it actually spends. It makes up the two 1/3 shortfalls by borrowing, mainly from China, at $2 billion a day.

The result is that the US currency is unattractive as other countries find that there is less and less they can use the currency to buy within the US itself with the US dollar. The value of the US dollar is really in an arab using it to buy a Toyota or a Samsung TV from Asia.

The only reason why the Asians accept the US dollar is because they can use it to buy oil from the Arabs. But as the value of the dollar has fallen, the Arabs have started asking that the price of oil be raised to reflect the fall of the dollar....If that happens, the cost of oil in the US will rise and hurt the US economy. At a point, the Arabs may junk the US altogether and turn to the much stronger Euro...

The impetus to shore up the weakness in the US economy is very evidently addressed by increased the size of its economic sphere by encompassing the Americas and possibly exploiting the low wages in it to compete with Asia..

The irony to me is that a big part of the reason for the trade deficit is that US manufucturing was outsourced and now as Americans import the things they used to make, they face a deficit. At the same time, when George Bush gave his rich friends billions in tax breaks, he created a hole in so far as the amount of money the government collected in taxes. This led to the current mess...

However, it is entirely possible that capitalists may decide to resolve their conflict in the time tested way - war among themselves... we shall see

expect the dollar to drop.... why you may ask, because it will be the biggest mistake ever...compared to hiring George Bush as our President
