VH1 star Ahmad ‘Real’ Givens dies at 33 after battle with colon cancer
(PIX11) — VH1 reality star Ahmad “Real” Givens has died after a long battle with colon cancer, his brother told TMZ. The “Real Chance of Love” star was 33 years old.
Givens’ had been bedridden after he took a fall last month, his brother, Chance, said. Family members who visited Givens Friday knew the end was near because his speech and vision were failing. He died hours later.
The VH1 star was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2013. Although he underwent surgery, the cancer returned and he began chemotherapy treatments.
“I’ll see you one day soon we shall dance again in God’s kingdom forever and ever bro words can’t describe my pain world pray for me!” Chance wrote.
The hashtag #RIPReal was trending after news of Givens’ death broke out.
