There is a noble reason that is used for propaganda purposes and movies, than there is the real reason. The Veterans need to form political groups that oppose wars that are not in the Defense of the United States.

Lest I forget, Venezuela, a democratically elected leader was ousted because of his strong Socialist policies and nationalization of key industries in contravention to the ruling elite. The U.S. is alleged to be heavily involved in this coup, and has engaged in many subversive activities to undermine government.

Right or wrong, a lot of good Americans, untold numbers of them Black, without regards to the politics, served at least for what they thought were the right reasons -- and many, many paid the ultimate sacrifice so that YOU, as they thought, could say the things you're empowered to say, today.
Some would say were fools to pay such a heavy price for your thoughful words above. Maybe. Maybe they did what they did, without the thought of politics, because to them (and their principles, even if faulty) fools deserved protection, too.
Right or wrong, a lot of good Americans, untold numbers of them Black, without regards to the politics, served at least for what they thought were the right reasons -- and many, many paid the ultimate sacrifice so that YOU, as they thought, could say the things you're empowered to say, today.
