Why in the fuck would anybody (single, individual) pay $100 a month for a cell phone?
Is there anybody who:

a) pays more than that monthly who will benefit?
b) would use their cell phone more in order to get their money's worth?
c) would cancel their home phone if they already haven't?

That just seems ridiculous. For a PHONE?

What would be even better is the company that includes international calls in their package, then it'd be a done deal.

Gotta think bruh..

There are lots of people that dont really ever stay at home and have to depend on their cell but then cant because they dont have the minutes. Then you gotta add in the people who get KILLED on overages damn near every month, and previous unlimited plans were way more expensive. How many times have you heard the phrase "Im on my minutes call me after 9" Plus most good Cell plans cost you 60-70 now any damn way.

exactly!

what about helio having unlimited everything for $99 and being a cdma based network (don't hold me to that). OR the hotspot at home from tmobile, $10 basically gives you unlimited calling with a wifi enable phone. $99 for calls (or calls and texting) won't have me spending more money

If you have ALLTEL in your area, I would check them out first. In markets where they exist with the other big 5, they are rated #1 in both cell service and customer service in 79% of those markets according to ocnsumer reports. Plus you can have unlimited calling to any 10 people through MY CIRCLE. I have ALLTEL pay about $80 for 1000 peak minutes, Unlimited MMS, unlimited Nights and Weekends, unlimited M2M, and my circle. They beat T Mobile (shitty service and you lose m2m when you add my faves), AT&T and Sprint are rated dead last in both cell service and customer service.

The Verizon deal is nice, but expensive. $100 and no data services included. For $130 you can add access to a data plan for smartphones, but that only gives you 50 MB of data. Anything over 50 MB is $1.99 per MB. Thats expensive when most pics are .5 MB.

Do your research. Verizon even told their employees to give that disclaimer out about the data service. Plus, if you use too many minutes, by their standards, they will refuse you service like how Sprint did. Matter of fact Verizon already did that with their data cards.

I think maybe I am showing my age.
I'm almost 30, working full time, and in a committed relationship. My cell bill is $50 a month, including texts, after all fees.

I guess for people who LIVE on their phone... they spend close/more than 100???

FINALLY. Now they need to work on making it INTERNATIONAL AS WELL.

I never understood why there were so much restrictions on cell phones anyway. The companies could have long made the phones without charging by the minute. Metropcs has been doing it, that alone proves it could of been done way back when. It was most likely a coalition between the cell phone companies to maintain certain profits.

WHY SHOULD ANYONE HAVE A PHONE THEY CANT USE?? (ex. "I cant talk, call me back after 9." "OH shit, its not 9 yet, I'll call you back." "Let me call you back from my house phone")

WHY? Why have a phone if you cant use it? I hate calling people during the day and they dont pick up, because they are afraid to use their minutes. WTF is the point. Seriously.:angry:

I run operate two business and my monthly bill is about $375.00. There is NO landline. I heard about this the other day. Goodbye Sprint, I've been with you since 1999

I spend nearly 90 a month for minutes, text messaging. That's excluding any data plan i've got setup. Unecessary really, but I can't get enough of that BGOL mobile.

Does anybody know anything about cellular south service? I'm thinking about getting with them. They have a unlimited plan for 59.00

if sprint go 60 dollars for unlimited plan ima be hype that will cut my 2 phone bills in half.

u still have a home phone? cancelled mine YEARS ago. this plan works great for business professionals anyway

what about sprint sero? Unlimited Text, Data, nights and weekends starting @ 7, 2500min for $60

I'm with Verizon right now, but I'm thinking about switching to sprint for the unlimited Data plan

This is for cats who have businesses I still have to use a pager which is assigned to me so I don't pay for it anyways. But this will be good for people who get high volumes of calls and won't get overage charges. However it looks good NOW but when you factor tax and all that other shit this will be more like $160 a month

sprint has the cheapest data plans by far

but att's iphone plan has finally caught up some what

i get unlimited data and sprint tv(which i fuckin love) for $20

my plan is 39.99

so youre number come out just about right

dont forget the taxes tho

cell taxes is the stupidest shit in the world

the feds should investigate that shit

Man I got a Metro PCS and get unlimited calls and Text messages for 39,00. That is way to high

Yeah too bad you can't leave your metro area or the country even and still have service.
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
T-Mobile is killing these other companies. I never had a problem with them. That dropped call issue a lot of people have can be caused by the phones you have, believe it or not.

Dog you are in the discrete minority in todays world. The World is on the move. The average working person these days spends only about a third of their day at home. You think about it man, if your bill is only 50 after taxes that means your plan is only about 39 bucks which is a plan that likely doesnt really have shit on it. You are a very basic user. Most people arent.

Same here. Got the 350 minutes a month plan. Only use about 100 minutes. Mines comes to a little over 50, cause i got the unlimited text. I wish they had a plan for 150 minutes per month.

Why would people who are getting free text and calls for $39.00 no contract switch to pay $99.00. I have both at&t and Metro PCS. I have to admit I prefer my Metro over at&t. I just love my Iphone but Metro PCS has the better service to my surprise

IM WAITING FOR AN ANSWER

What he said. Jokers still carrying these types of phones.....

Complaining about call quality and stuff. Make a wise investment in a solid performing phone that will last you approx 3 years or so. Something workable in your current budget. Mobile phones are actually an important extension of your life now whether you like it or not. Hint, notice damn near all the corner payphones are non-existent. The stuff you can do on a basic modern mobile phone blows away old computers so its kind of feasible in some of the billing plans.

You can take your metro outside the coverage zone. They unlocked that feature years ago

If i talked on the phone alot and had a smart phone, and they said $99 unlimted minutes and internet service, plus unlimited text, then i would be interested. All this is doing is giving the people the option to talk more during the day. I already got unlimited nights and weekends, plus im at work during the day. so whats the point. i used my job during the day anyway. Pointless.

this is no good for folks who work during the day and cant talk on the phone all the time.

For an extra fee right? I was talking to a chic about that the other day. Unless she dont know what she is talking about. She told me that she has to pay extra to roam different states. And she paying 65 bones per months. If thats the case she may as well ditch her half assed working phone and get a real phone with a real plan with Metro PCS or whomever she chooses.
