Cranrab is Black and was on BGOL 20+ years ago. There has always been Black people who see thru Kobe Bryant. Hes more respected in the Mexican American community than the Black community.

Kobe and his parents didn't get along since he got into the NBA. They didn't want him to marry her which further the split between them.

Yep it’s money. Kobe got engaged after know her for only six months.

The parents didn’t want him to marry her because he was too young plus they had other reasons. Being that they didn’t want him to marry her, they didn’t go to the wedding.

So the bitterness at not showing up to the wedding, years of not speaking to each other and then it’s the money.

Kobe gave and and gave and it was never enough. He bought his parents a house but then they wanted a bigger one. I believe it was his Mom. Mind you this is over the course of years.

The parents felt that Kobe spent money on Vanessa and her family than he did his parents. Kobe’s mother in law at one point didnlive in a 3.2 million dollar mansion but it was sold. And then she lived in another million dollar house. Keep in mind it’s California so the prices were inflated.

But there’s years and years of bitterness and lack of contact, add on to the fact that the Mom tried selling his stuff. They were on such bad terms that they weren’t invited to his last game.

So there’s lots of history and hurt, and much more miscommunication.
