Outed CIA covert operative Valerie Plame Wilson and her husband, Joe Wilson, gave an interview to Katie Couric on 60 Minutes. In the first segment, Plame Wilson spoke frankly about being betrayed by this administration, as well as her assessment of the damage done to the nation’s security by revealing her identity [FLASH]http://www.liveleak.com/player.swf?token=9ec_1193061745[/FLASH] [FLASH]http://www.liveleak.com/player.swf?token=0df_1193062277[/FLASH] But the second segment is where Couric goes off the rails and shows her flair for White House talking points. It’s almost as if she implies that Plame Wilson should have expected the White House to out her because the work she did touched on the question that sent her husband, Amb. Joseph Wilson, to Niger.

I watched an interview with Ann Curry with her, and she said that Iran "has intent, and it is malevolent."
I found that very interesting, especially considering that many people who oppose the Iraqui war were expressing identical sentiments.

Two points:
I thought Katie did a decent job in this interview and to say Katie is speaking white house talking points is kind of odd. Right wingers say Katie is a tool of the left.
I don't care one way or the other because all are corrupt.

Seriously now, that statement troubles me. Maybe because it sounds like an indictment of everything and I'm not one to indict everything without a specific reason. I'm not throwing bricks at you Bro; but I just have problems with the blanket, you know. Maybe I have to 'believe' that even if there is not good in all of the world, there are at least the neutrals; that is, there are those that at least try to be honest or do the right thing.

Perhaps, its just the analytical part of my brain. The part that has to have a reason. A reason to believe that a given individual is right or wrong. A reason to believe that a person is good or evil. A reason.
