you are comparing a strap of fabric that prevents automobile injury to a mRNA innovation that cannot be undone and has not been studied for its long term effects? This is a gross oversimplification and more dangerous than advising people to wait for more studies to come out and delay taking the vaccine. Masking reduces the distribution of droplets and tried and true for decades. Condoms, tried and true for decades. Parachutes, tried and true for decades. mRNA technology, less than one year old, already failing at its job. The creator of mRNA technology advises against it. LOL like, what are y'all, idiots?

If the benefit for vulnerable populations outweigh the risks of this experiment, then they should take it. There are populations that have a higher chance of negative outcomes from infection.
 
Who ever said the vaccine will stop you from getting the virus? Who said the vaccine will prevent death? Everything Ive read and seen says the vaccine could help fight the virus. Does the flu vaccine stop you from getting the flu? This pro and anti vaxxer shit is ridiculous.

There's no reason to scour the depths of the internet to find the extremely rare cases it didn't work for someone so you can create a thread about it.

If you don't want to get the vaccine, then you get to test weekly. If your job mandates you have to get the vaccine, get a new job or start a business.

If your child's school mandates they have to be vaccinated, either home school or send them to a school that doesn't care about your child's safety.

A job is not a right, it's a privilege. So if you're concerned your job is going to "force" you to get the vaccine so the government can start their nefarious plan. Quit.

Show them how strongly you feel against this terrible vaccine that doesn't work.

To my knowledge, aside from some government jobs, there's the option of weekly testing. So what's the problem? Is the goal to convince others not to get it?

Yeah imma take my chances vaccinated. mRna tech isn't "a year old". Been active longer than that. 95% unvaccinated in the ICU'S in my city. The math doesn't lie. Just say you're scared and get it over with.

The unvaccinated in your city in the hospital aren't healthy individuals, more than likely. Like i said if the benefits outweigh the risks for the vulnerable populations, they should get it. I will assume you have at risk health conditions.

A lot of people say "I'm healthy" and then covid educates them on that claim. I'm vaccinated and will get the booster if need be. Hospitals aren't full of vaccinated. If they were, you'd have a leg to stand on.

Actually the 95% math that you cite is misleading. When you read that 95% of the people in a hospital are unvaccinated they are comparing apples to oranges. The 95% number is all the people who died from Covid, even since before the vaccine was offered, vs the number of people who died that got vaccinated. So for example 600,000 people died from Covid - 90% of them before the victims were able to get a vaccine.

The correct way to give the numbers would be to measure since May/June 2021 - when everyone was able to get the vaccine and compare. The US never released those numbers. Israel and the UK did, and the UK showed a small difference in death and ICU hospitalization rate for the vaccinated vs unvaccinated. Actually in Israel there was no difference.

Short answer is wear a mask, take vitamin D, and lose weight. After you do this, get the vaccine if you want or not. But don't think it will save you. The #1 risk factor for a serious case of Covid (at least w/ Delta) is not whether or not you're vaccinated but whether you are obese and have other co-morbidities.
