USAIN BOLT SET TO RETIRE!

He'd be only 33. That's younger than what Gatlin is now.

My gut says he's getting out like Flo Jo did to avoid getting caught with that track crack.
gimme a break. The man has been breaking down physically,
and as he has said, he cannot get more out of his body, try as
he might. If Usain Bolt was dirty, he would have been caught
a long time ago

He has at least one more olympics in him, Michael Johnson was 33 when he retired....

but was he winning at 33...?

i think too many athletes stay one or 2 yr`s too long ...

u c it all the time... i would want to go out a winner too ....few have...

who really wants to c him getting beat over and over again...

like i said that grind is too much ...especially in a sport where u peak so young...

he`s just a freak to b able to have done it for so long at a high level...

if i was him after the relays i would take off my spikes n drop the shit like a mike & walk off the track ....lol

Remember at 32, he had set the World Record for the 200 meters...& the 400 meters

older is is part of it but i think it`s the grind also to stay in shape ...

u watch video`s of any top athletes training or their interviews that training regiment aint no joke to stay on top ...

after awhile u cant sustain that especially getting older...

father time - undefeated ...
Also you want to go out on top instead of washed up losing all your events like certain boxers.

just watched the docu....everybody commenting watch this shit n it explains a lot....

that track shit is not easy especially at world class level...

oh yeah ...Gatlin a bitch....

we needed more of her....

Horrible start for Bolt (and Blake)...sponsors forced him back when he wanted to quit last year...pissed off it was Gatlin who won...Coleman is no joke...if De Grasse was here, I wonder if Bolt would have won a medal

Outstanding race by Coleman and Gatlin
Coleman new face of sprinting for USA.
with him Noah Lyles, Josh Norman, Jarrion Lawson and Trayvon Bromell
they can challenge for the championships in Doha 2019
and Toyko 2020 Olympics.

Of course my JamRock bruhs
I know about Christopher Taylor, young dude is talented

Bolt is the track GOAT no doubt

Don't know if they will dominate...De Grasse was considered Bolt's main threat before he got injured...at 200 meters, the South African Van Niekerk is damn near Bolt-like in the way he is killing it...will be fun to see though

yeah I had to edit my comment
In other words, there are some new faces of track
which will fun to watch after Bolt and Gatlin retires.

Shame Degrasse injured his hamstring because this final
wouldve been more uniquely competitive.

After watching the race it looked like father time has caught up with Usain Bolt. You could tell he didn't have that extra gear to come back about 60 meters into it. In the past even after a bad start Bolt could come back. Yeah that is a tell tale sign it was time for him to retire.

To me he's up there in the conversation of one of the greatest athletes of all time. This loss won't hurt his legacy though. It was more so father time that beat him today than his competitors and from watching the race you could tell.

Yours Truly.......Professor

I honestly don't think Bolt was putting in work in training like that...as you get older you have to change up your training habits to compensate and why should Bolt do that?...he is already the GOAT...he doesn't have the motivation like that
