But if I choke a person until they die on camera, I’m not getting 22.5 years.

And a cop who’s there to serve the community kills an innocent man who’s not resisting on camera and only gets 22.5 years?

That’s just not right. The fact that he’s a cop and did that makes it worse than if I did it. So he should be punished worse.
