Gangs are recruiting as young as 10 year olds to do certain crimes like kick-do's.
Send them in there when nobody is home, rummage around and be out in minutes with a laptop, gun, TV, whatever they find.
If they get caught it's juvenile at worst. May even be released to parents and pay a fine. Much better than an adult getting caught.

Homixide is affiliated with a bunch of famous rappers in Atlanta.
Kid 14 was breaking in my friend's house time and again until finally getting caught.
We could have set a trap where he thought nobody was home and justifiably killed him.
He didn't even face any real consequences.
I think I recall seeing homixide tagged on the Dunn Street side of West End Mall.

There is great influential power in music that can be used positively or negatively and make money either way.
A commercially viable positve rap song was TI/Rihanna "Live your Life".
I think it was made after he got arrested with the weapons (No Flash, No Bang) and the judge told him to make positive music because he had the ear of the youth.
Dudes are choosing to make music with negative, vile messaging simply because they think or have been told that's what sells.
B.o.B. "Airplanes" and such is seen as selling out or going Pop...it was decided for us that Black music has to involve drugs, death, guns to make money.
Imagine the appeal of a rapper that could be hard enough for the streets and still appeal to high school/college middle America. Like Nelly's first album. That's where the money is.
