As detailed in a previous thread, I recently opened my law firm in NYC. The response has been outstanding and overwhelming. In fact, I hire 3 attorneys on a part-time basis to help me with the work.
Having said this, let God guide your steps and follow your dreams. There were posts on BGOL that inspired me to go into business for myself. I thank the BGOL community and hope to inspire others. Don't sleep I make a ton of money but I work 12-16 hours per day. I don't mind working hard because my clients need me.
I'm of the opinion that the economy will stay in the shitter and get worse over time. Fuck trying to impress someone to make pennies. BTW, I have a cushion because of my wife's salary but do what you can. I know people on unemployment and I tell them to start their business while collecting unemployment and looking for work.
