While on probation for a DUI, she got another DUI and assaulted someone, add on resisting arrest and an attempted battery on a police officer, she's getting jail time. I believe California law mandates jail time for a second DUI.

She racially profiled a kid and tackled him... The kid’s Dad should’ve roughed her up but that’s beside the point.
In the court of law it’ll probably be listed as an assault or simple assault. She has a previous record so the punishment will take that into account.
But realistically, what are you expecting to happen? What do you think her penalty should be?
I want her to get punished also but I’m not expecting a severe punishment to teach her a lesson.
Also I didn’t say nothing would be done to her. I’m saying a 12 page thread and amount of media attention won’t reflect in her punishment. It’s a bigger deal to us than the actual charges that were made.
Looks like she’ll be charged with assault and attempted robbery. I hope they throw the book at her to set an example, but I’m not sure the penalty will be enough.

If she got another DUI while on probation for DUI she should be in jail. The system failed.
I hope she does get jail, I just don’t think she’ll get what she deserves for what she did due to the harm her accusation could’ve caused.

I took from the interview the Urber driver returned the phone to the Hotel... Which meant the phone was in Security/lost...
The staff mishandled a simple lost and found situation and the crazy bitch escalated it...

For the second time in three weeks, Miya Ponsetto, the 22-year-old woman arrested for falsely accusing a Black teen of stealing her phone, woke up and chose violence.
This time, it’s wearing what appears to be merch from the Barstool Sports podcast Call Her Daddy for an interview with Gayle King on CBS This Morning. Refusing to part with her “Daddy” baseball cap, Ponsetto spoke out for the first time since the video of her attacking the 14-year-old went viral, saying she should have “approached the situation differently” but not acknowledging her assault.
“Yeah, the footage shows me attacking his son,” she tells King. “Attacking him how? Yelling at him? Yes, okay. I apologized. Can we move on?” King did not let her move on. “Okay, so basically, I’m a 22-year-old girl,” Ponsetto said. “Racism is — how is one girl accusing a guy about a phone a crime? Where is the context in that? What is the deeper story here?”
As King explains that she “seemed to have attacked this teenager about the phone and then it turned out he didn’t even have the phone,” Ponsetto interrupts with “All right, Gayle, enough” and a brush-off. “Stop, stop,” her poor lawyer whispers. Ponsetto then claims the hotel did have her phone, despite reports saying an Uber driver returned it.
CBS This Morning will have more of the interview with Ponsetto and her hat on Monday. “[Her lawyer] said, ‘You know, you might wanna remove that hat,’ and she refused to do that, too,” King told her co-hosts after the segment. “It was an interesting afternoon.”
