Trump told you he could shoot someone and wouldn't lose any voters, and he was right. The only way to fight that is for the other party's voters have the same mentality, and that's the problem.
We already have sufficient prison for "Americas Most Dangerous" criminals. Opening Alcatraz serves no purpose.

When you have a person speaking at one of your events to drum up votes, and that person calls the place where an entire ethnic group is from "and shit hole" and the candidate nor none of his people condemned that statement. And the candidate didn't lose all of that ethnic group's votes...... That's a people issue.
When a party tells latinos vote for me and I will get rid of the illegal immigrants, and they say "ok, you got my vote". Knowing damn well their parents, uncle, cousin, best friend is here illegal...... That's a people's issue.
When a white man running for president, has a history of racism. During the police shootings of unarmed black people. Says "I stand with the police", I am against police reform.
Also tells you a woman that a black woman ain't black and he didn't lose every black person's vote....That's a people problem
When a White male candidate who has a record of derogatory comments towards white women and he didn't lose all their votes..... That's a people problem.
Oh and as far as crime....... Your president has more felonies than anyone he has deported.

So if Dems want to win, they have to convince the most about of people to come out and vote. For everything you typed, it seems there was something more important to those voters that they thought they would get for Trump. Pretty much all of the people in those groups thought Trump would do better on the economy. It seems to me that a smart political party would realize people vote with their pockets over any other issue.

The voters are telling us right now in poll after poll, they do not buy, like, or want the message we are giving them. So we can either just blame the voters and lose, or try to offer voters something that will change their minds enough for us to win.
