ADOS is simple. Black american descendants of slaves/captives drawing borders and setting conditions for their ethnic identity (not racial) is no different than Africans or Carribbean black folk taking pride in the same. A yoruba is not an igbo despite both being Nigerian. A Jamaican and a Bermudan are not the same despite both being from the Carribbean.

So they move the goalpost by saying “so i am not black?” No,you are black,but you are black of a different heritage.

Anytime I read people associating ADOS with the Right or Left, or putting it down as nonsense, what I read from that is a type of Freudian Slip.
These people, black or not, view ADOS men and women as incapable of our own rational thought. Inherently inferior, if you will. These same people submit to the idealizations of whiteness and all that entails. Of course not all non-Ados men and women think this way. Quite a few support the movement/approach as a normal aspect of human nature. Its folks like the OP and the non-ADOS author of that piece that are delusional.
