French Montana’s hit song “Pop That” samples Uncle Luke and 2 Live Crew’s “I Wanna Rock” – and Uncle Luke is looking to get that check cut for his contribution to the record. MTV caught up with the rapper / part-time politician on the red carpet at the BET Hip-Hop Awards, where Uncle Luke made it clear that he was looking to catch up with Diddy backstage about the payment.

“When I heard the song, I said, ‘Oh this is a hit,’ and the next thing I said is, ‘Where’s my check?”

“Ain’t nobody told me about my check yet. I have not gotten the check yet, so I’m looking for the check. I’m gonna talk to Diddy in the back about it.”​

I've never been a Luke fan, but have to say I admire him never being afraid to speak his mind (sometimes good sometimes bad), he never seemed to kiss any ass, and he seems to back it up. This nga dissed death row, the city of Compton, had a brawl at the freaknic and the next thing you know he's in Dr. Dre's next video.:lol:

yeah this nga detoured me from buying dvds for several years. i bought 2 of his dvds probably around 2000, 2001 cost me close to $70 and none of the beautiful chicks he had on the front cover where on the dvds:angry: At the time I had paid membership to **************. Me and Threat (from Digital Creations) had a pretty good friendship, one of his models i forget her name, i believe she was black and russian or something.....He laughed at it and laughed at how luke was doing business back then. But, after that episode, I didn't buy another dvd until probably around 2004. Prices had dropped drastically and porn dvds you'd once pay $40 for were now at the flea market for $3 to $5!:dance: But, we do have to give luke credit for opening up the hip/porn market though those old 6 hr vhs tapes that i'd get going to ny that had real porn and mixtape rap shyt was waaay better. I think they actually did it before luke but he definitely got a nice market and showed there was a nice profit to be made. And for all the lawsuits he got back in the days, luke has filed quite a few lawsuits himself over the past few years.
