Guess no need to see this
Looks like a Red Box movie but I'd still watch it just not in the cinema.

I’m surprised no one listed this short film.
It inspired the full length feature film.
Lights Out
2013
"Lights Out" is a 2013 horror short film directed by David F. Sandberg, who later turned the idea into a full-length movie of the same name in 2016, produced by James Wan.
The short film follows a woman about to go to bed when she notices a dark figure appearing every time she turns off the light. Terrified, she tries to understand what is happening, but every time she turns the light back on, the figure disappears. The film ends with a chilling twist, leaving the viewer with a lingering sense of fear.

It seems like it would make a good anthology series if the rest of the stories are as intriguing as those two.
It's the former.. there's actually going to be a tv series based on the comic howeverAgreed. I'm still confused on what the big screen version is going to be based on. I read its a remake of the original cult classic and I have also read its based on this comic.

Oh. I didn't know there was anything planned with it. It may not adapt well to cinema.Agreed. I'm still confused on what the big screen version is going to be based on. I read its a remake of the original cult classic and I have also read its based on this comic.
That makes more sense than a film. It's the former.. there's actually going to be a tv series based on the comic however

Definitively? Do you mean confidently? I mean I did use the word "may." So, I left open the possibility I could be wrong. Why do you say that so definitively?

I just don't see how a comic that's seems to be an anthology by the description would work well on screen. When have anthologies ever worked as a single film, Cat's Eye or Creepshow?
Edit: Tales From the Hood worked TBF.

I just believe anthology is just better as a series. No anthology film I seen even comes close to Tales from the Crypt or really any other anthology series. If this comic is as good as the YouTuber makes it out to be, it should get a dedicated series rather than just a single film.
What's your favorite anthology horror film? For me, Tales of the Hood still takes the top spot.I get it. It is a very difficult format to pull off successfully but when you do? You got a classic thats very re-watchable.
I agree that the comic would be a better series but I could see it easily working as a film if done right.
We will soon see.
Another rogue AI/robot horror. Are they trying to tell us something?
Was this like a Saudi-style public execution? If so, those bystanders may have been audience. Regardless beheadings aren't exactly something you see everyday. I can understand the shock.@therealjondoe
I just unfortunately watched a video of a man being beheaded and the the reaction of bystanders as they watched a man in broad daylight walk out with a bloody machete and a severed head in his hands. They fact that they did not run they were frozen and instead did nothing or only reached for their phones has made me NEVER want to question horror movie logic again.
