We getting to that critics don't matter time zone soon enough for certain genres
They never mattered. At least not in a long time. That said, a high box office doesn't mean these films aren't trash.

Ok all 3 youtube creator movies were good.
I don't like comparing them to each other because to me they are completely different genres within horror.
Obsession resonates more with me personally because I can literally connect with the material and it its "easier" for the uninitiated to get into
But all 3 of these guys are ridiculously talented.
I see sequels for all 3 and if they have the idea do it. But honestly?.
Left as is they already the best of the modern era i could see someone being completely happy with never touching that.

Gotchu. The first two I'm familiar with but haven't heard a thing about Iron Lung.
I'm going to have to do a best of 2026 list but not before October.
