UGA vs. Hawaii

Oh, look, the offensive line has shown up! Wow. Stop making excuses for Colt Brennan.

What you should really be saying is you can't judge this dude b/c of the Run and Shoot offense they are running. Every qb in this system puts up numbers. They have to or they get another guy that does. Slip screens, quick slants, and especially against inferior competition, he should put up numbers.

Co-Sign. (see Andre Ware, David Klingler, and Timmy Chang) What did Jerry Glanville call it, the Chuck 'n Duck Offense?

Sportscenter led off its broadcast tonite with the score of the game and the announcer simply told it like it was. Hawaii is a nice story but tonite they are finding out what big time college football is all about.

true.

but one thing i like about the announcers; they are dropping some serious POSITIVE academic stats about the georgia players-namely the black players.

brothers that have already graduated, brothers who have parents being married for decades and that stress education.

that shit is nice, and i appreciate that.

Mann the islanders probably had a luau and called on the spirits of the volcano big kahuna to win this game...

damn damn damnnnn:smh:

Hawaiian cookies, mermaids and sea turtles... There's too much funny shit in this thread to quote.

I admit I thought Hawaii was at least going to keep it interesting but people forget 10 wins in the SEC is like 600 wins in the WhACk.

I swear Brennan looked like he was crying when they finally took his ass out of the game.

man I have to laugh....... Colt Brennan-Heisman candidate......:smh:

Props to Georgia for handling business and not getting bitched like last year's bowl game.

I was cop-signing a big upset with Hawai'i. Guess I was wrong. These guys were completely outmatched.

That makes the SEC 6-2 in bowl games.

none of those wins count if lsu can't bring home the NC on monday.

something makes me VERY uncomfortable about les miles coaching in this game.

i have a feeling he's gonna play the game too cute with trick plays and risky calls, and that won't work vs. osu. :smh:

if lsu doesn't shut down the run, they'll take a loss.

Naa the wins count even if LSU loses. I get what you're saying but LSU should be able to stop the run with a healthy front four on defense. But if they don't, OSU will run all day long. In my opinion i just think that LSU has too much all around talent that OSU can't match. OSU's middle linebacker is a phony and did not deserve any awards and they haven't faced any real speed all year long.

based on what georgia did the last 5 or 6 games of the season, why would you think otherwise/

i didn't give hawaii a chance, but i thought they would be competitive.

the game was NOT as close as the score indicated. uga could have scored 60+ if they wanted.

You were the main one saying Hawaii could compete with anyone, would be favored against osu, brennan deserved the heisman, among other stupid statements

I was at the game supporting Hawaii...

And I'll admit it, this game proved what alot people were saying... They ain't shit.

Hawaii never had a good O-line and Georgia took advantage of it. For the fact that Brennan GAVE the ball 2 times to Georgia (no, not a interception... there was not one Hawaii player where he threw it, it was a Georgian), proved he still got some work to do.

All the other times Hawaii was in a hole... it was the the players fucking up (particularly the offensive line), and then Colt luckily saving them out towards the game. Everyone knew it... we thought we was going to see it again... WRONG!

When it comes down to it for Colt... He can't handle pressure. He already had the mental pressure, Georgia just put the physical pressure on him.. and it worked perfectly for the Bulldogs. I seen Hawaii in worst situations (the Washington Game), but they just couldn't recover for shit. It was like a whole 'nother team was playing out there. Now if Colt can't handle that pressure, what NFL team, would want him?

Hawaii got 4 Million out of this game win or lose since they were invited. But at the end of the day, they still got alot to prove.

I feel bad for all the people from Hawaii who put down their life savings or second mortgage to see this game. There was like 20,000 Hawaii people there, but there was 70,000 from Georgia.

Luckily, I now live in Houston (born in Hawaii for 19 yrs.) and I got my tickets free.
