He has clearly taken to many blows to the head and he needs to be sent to the crazy doctor before he kills his mother.
He's probably always been crazy and that's what drove him to be a legend in the UFC,willing to go that extra mile to win but now its turned into something else much more dangerous,being delusional.

This type of decline has a tendency to result in the mentally ill individual feeling justified in killing their loved one because they feel like they're saving or avenging the "real" family member by killing or injuring the imposter.
What's tough too is that in fighting up in weight classes, he took far too much damage over the course of his career due to his durability.

In January 2015, Penn was arrested in Kihei, Hawaii and charged with assault after a brawl outside of a bar.[134]In 2019, Penn's estranged girlfriend, Shealen Uaiwa, filed a restraining order against him in October from her and Penn's children, alleging years of physical and sexual abuse. On February 7, 2020, Penn was involved in a single-car accident in his home town of Hilo, Hawaii. Penn was the only occupant of the vehicle, and he was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance. Penn was investigated by the Hilo Police Department for DUI and his blood was drawn at the scene, but no charges were filed.[139]

I wasn't a huge BJ Penn fan, but this is sad. Those later beatings he took due to the UFC feeding older talent to the younger is horrific. I hope Max sees this and cuts his fighting back.
Agreed. Especially with Penn fighting at featherweight, lightweight and welterweight. He was beyond tough and durable, and often fighting against larger fighters. Hence additional punishment being taken.
Regarding Max ... one of the challenges too is already having had a long career (13+ years in the UFC alone) and he only turned 33 in December. He's been elite for YEARS, so he's been fighting a who's who of competition. Would love to see him get into coaching sooner rather than later. He's a wealth of knowledge and could help bring up the next generation of Hawaiian fighters, and it seems like he has a good camp as many of the guys you see in the Countdown / Embedded videos have been the same dudes over the years. Clearly they've got a good base there.
