The UFC has booked a quick turnaround time for Francis N'Gannou as he will challenge Stipe Miocic for the Heavyweight Title at #UFC220 on 01/20.

that is a short as training window for the challenger, against a champ, with more fight experience. Trying to give Miocic the advantage

I wanted to see a black American go for the heavyweight gold first like Jon Jones or Daniel Cormier. Black Americans are the first to dominate shit like boxing and other sports.

Done and done! Ngannou will body him.

Dude actually holds the record for hardest punch ever!

UFC 220 already had a viable main event.
Daniel Cormier
will defend his UFC light heavyweight title against Volkan Oezdemir on the card.
That matchup has now been bumped down to the co-main event to make way for Miocic vs. Ngannou.

I watched N'Gannou crumple Overeem live last weekend, and I am ready to see this fight. UFC better get back to Detroit soon af, we sold out LCA, no more bullshit 7 year gaps.

Man WTF? They giving Francis a month? They really want the CAC to stay champ. What fuck shit this unless someone pull out of the fight with Stipe how are they planning a heavyweight title with the challenger have fought a month before. Either these PPV ain’t cutting it on the numbers or Dana White really wanting stipe to stay on top. :smh:

Alvarez's reaction and facial expressions are great at the 1 minute mark as he rewatches it (and was on the same main card with Ngannou-Overeem a month ago, and got a great victory of his own over Gaethje) -

Lol @ niggas in here saying UFC wants Stipe to keep the belt, the last time a Black fighter got the kind of marketing push that Ngannou is getting from the UFC was Jon Jones before the fuckups. They clearly want him to be champ, Stipe even said that himself. UFC booked the fight so soon because (1) Ngannou didn't suffer any damage in his last fight and (2) they want to capitalize on the buzz of the Overeem KO while it is still hot.

Going to be a good card in a week and a half. 2 title fights. I'm good either way with Ngannou or Miocic. Fan of both of theirs. Both legit heavyweights.

Going to be interesting to see how the co-main plays out with Cormier & Oezdemir. Especially since the challenger doesn't have much fight time over the course of his career. Check out the number of his 1st round wins. How will he fare if it goes 3, 4, or 5 rounds? How does he contend with Cormier's elite-level wrestling?
